摘要： Various methods and devices are provided for tensioning a tether. In one embodiment, a tether tensioning device is provided and includes a tensioning mechanism adapted to couple to a tether extending along a path between at least two bone anchors implanted in adjacent vertebrae. The tensioning mechanism can be adapted to apply a tensioning force to the tether along the path of the tether to thereby move the tether along the path. The device further includes an actuation mechanism movably coupled to the tensioning mechanism such that the actuation mechanism is adapted to effect movement of the tensioning mechanism to control the tensioning force applied to the tether.

摘要： A connector assembly for connecting a bone anchor to a fixation element includes an anchor receiving member, a housing, an intermediate member, a first closure member, and a second closure member. The anchor receiving member has a first portion having an opening for receiving a bone anchor. The housing has a first passage for receiving a fixation element, a second passage for receiving the second portion of the anchor receiving member, and a third passage intersecting the first passage and the second passage. The intermediate member is positionable within the third passage and has a seat for receiving the fixation element and a distal end configured to engage the second portion of the anchor receiving member. The first closure member is positionable within the third passage to engage the intermediate member and the second closure member is positionable within the third passage to engage the fixation element.
