    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a metal oxide particle with a primary particle size of a nanometer order at normal temperature under normal pressure.
      SOLUTION: This method for producing a metal oxide particle comprises adding water-soluble amines such as monoethanolamine and diethanolamine to a raw material of the metal oxide where a metal element of the metal oxide exists as an ion state in the aqueous solution such as a nitrate and a hydroxide at normal temperature under normal pressure, thereby making pH of the aqueous solution to be 4 or above to produce a metal oxide particle. Further, after adjusting pH of the aqueous solution, in which the metal oxide particle is produced, to 1-4, an ultrasonic wave is irradiated thereto to disperse the metal oxide particle into the primary particle of a monodisperse state in the aqueous solution.
