摘要： An angle position detection apparatus according to the present invention includes: a unipolar resolver and a multipolar resolver installed so that reluctance is changed in synchronization with the revolution of a direct motor drive; and a select switch is used to switch between paths along which an excitation signal from a transmitter is supplied to these resolvers. When the supply path for the excitation signal is changed by the select switch, at the least, the unipolar resolver and the multipolar resolver are not excited at the same time, so that magnetic flux leaking from one resolver does not electrically interfere with the other resolver. Therefore, the unipolar resolver and the multipolar resolver 30 can be arranged so they are near each other, and the size and the thickness of the angle detection apparatus can be reduced.

摘要： There is provided a torque detecting device for providing a highly accurate torque signal, and an electric power steering device using the torque detecting device. A torque sensor is provided with a first coil pair and a second coil pair, which detect a relative displacement between an input shaft and an output shaft by corresponding the relative displacement to a change in impedance. Magnetization signal generating units supply exciting currents with different magnetization frequencies to the first coil pair and a second coil pair, respectively. The magnetization frequency difference is set to 3.5 kHz or higher. Moreover, low-pass filters for intercepting passage of a frequency equivalent to the magnetization frequency difference are deployed in signal processing circuits respectively.

摘要： In a VR-type resolver which is used in combination with a motor to detect the rotation position of the motor, the teeth number of a rotor of the resolver is reduced over the teeth number of a rotor of the motor. Also, the shape of the teeth of the resolver rotor is simplified into a curved shape such as a sine wave shape. Further, in another type of VR-type resolver, the number of the magnetic poles of the stator with respect to the number of the teeth of the rotor is set as a number being capable of satisfying not only the condition that it is a multiple of the phase number N and an even number but also the condition that it is a number which can be calculated according to one of the following expressions (1) and (2), that is,stator pole number=rotor teeth number/(M+1/N) (1)stator pole number=rotor teeth number/{M+(N-1)/N} (2),where M is an integral number of one of 1, 2, and 3.
