摘要： PURPOSE:To correct the time automatically by allowing a reception pulse signal from a broadcast received sound signal to pass for a prescribed period to extract time casting tone pulses and correcting the present time on the basis of them. CONSTITUTION:The broadcast wave of a radio or the like which transmits a time casting signal VS following a silent period TS of a prescribed length is received by a broadcast receiving part 5, and this received sound signal is subjected to envelope detection by a waveform shaping part 6 to form a reception pulse signal Pgamma including a time casting tone pulse PS. The signal Pgamma is allowed to pass through a gate circuit 7 only for a certain period, where the signal VS, exists, after the present time of a clock part 4 comes a prescribed time t1 in the period TS. The pulse PS is extracted from a pulse signal PS' passing the gate part by a time correcting part 7, and a time correcting pulse Pa is formed on the basis of this extracted pulse to correct the present time of the clock part 4.
