    • A yarn kind changing process for a spinning winder which comprises the steps of stopping winding of a bobbin being wound on a spinning spindle after a yarn kind changing instruction, cutting a sliver which extends between a draft part of a spinnig frame and a yarn supply station and joining a supply side sliver of a different kind to the sliver remaining on the draft part, starting the spindle again to wind yarn of the new kind on a layer of the yarn of the preceding kind on a winding bobbin, and removing the yarn of the new kind wound on the yarn of the preceding kind before the fully wound bobbin doffed from the spindle is subsequently supplied to a winder.

    • A bobbin switching device for winding units comprising a disk rotatable in taking-in direction along a lower surface of a passage on the taking-in side for taking-in a bobbin erected on a tray from a bobbin supply conveyor to a winding position, and a turnable eject lever for holding a bobbin at a winding position and ejecting an empty bobbin from a winding position to an empty bobbin eject conveyor via a passage on the eject side. The eject lever is driven through a cam row of a winding unit U, wherein the disk is rotatable by mounting of a ratchet wheel and a pawl and the pawl is operatively connected to the eject lever through the cam row and driven.

    • A cop supplying apparatus in an automatic winder includes a full cop delivery conveyor belt and an empty cop delivery conveyor belt arranged along each of a plurality of winding units of the winder. A cop fitted on an individual cop deliverying carrier is travelled on the conveyor belt and a passage for receiving the carrier from the conveyor belt is formed in each winding unit. The cops are located at predetermined position of the passage and after a predetermined number of carriers have been stored on the passage, subsequent cops are blocked by the last carrier stored in the passage. The device for delivering the cop to the yarn feed position from the conveyor belt is constructed by a rotary disc and guide plates which are forming the passage for the carrier on the disc.
