摘要： The present invention provides synthetic hair comprising fiber of 30 to 100 decitex, comprising an acrylic copolymer obtained by copolymerizing acrylonitrile, vinylidene chloride and a vinyl monomer containing a sulfonic acid group and a process for preparing the synthetic hair. The synthetic hair of the present invention has favorable surface gloss and excellent knot strength and hair breaking in the sewing machine steps when preparing the weft and in implanting hair to skin when preparing wigs and toupees is improved. The fiber which becomes the synthetic fiber is prepared by preparing a spinning solution containing, in a polymer solution of an acrylic polymer comprising 40 to 74% by weight of acrylonitrile, 25 to 59% by weight of vinylidene chloride and 1 to 5% by weight of a vinyl monomer containing a sulfonic acid group copolymerizable therewith and a good solvent, 5 to 20 parts by weight of water based on 100 parts by weight of the polymer, forming fiber by wet spinning, conducting drawing treatment so that the total drawing ratio becomes 2.5 to 12 times and conducting relaxing treatment so that the total relaxation ratio becomes at least 15%. By this method, synthetic hair is obtained, in which the gloss contrast is at least 0.88, the knot strength is at least 0.5 cN/decitex and the average fineness of the filament is 30 to 100 decitex.

The sewing system includes a holder for holding a workpiece, a plurality of sewing machines capable of performing programmed sewings, a holding member releasably holding the holder, and driving means effecting relative movement between a needle and the holding member in accordance with a sewing program for the programmed sewing, a transferring unit for selectively moving the holder to one of the sewing machines, identification means for identifying a kind of the holder, a memory unit storing therein the sewing programs and data indicative of transferring destinations of the holder transferred by the transferring unit, the sewing programs and the destination data being stored with respect to every kind of one of the holder and the workpiece, and a control unit for reading the sewing program and the destination data from the memory unit in accordance with a result of identification by means of the identification means, and for transmitting the read sewing program to the sewing machine toward which the holder is transferred, as well as for driving the transferring unit in accordance with the destination data.

摘要： A stitch pattern data processing method and device for a sewing machine capable of forming a stitch pattern according to stitch pattern data including a plurality of needle location data stores stitch pattern data. It is determined whether a stitch pitch of a stitch to be formed according to each pair of adjacent ones of the plural needle location data of the stored stitch pattern data is equal to or greater than a reference pitch when contracting the stitch at a specified contraction rate in at least one direction of two perpendicular directions, sequentially from one end of the plural needle location data to another end. Needle location data of a contraction stitch pattern data is created so that when a result of the determination is negative, the needle location data nearer to another end is disregarded until the result of the determination becomes affirmative. When the determination result is affirmative, the needle location data is modified so as to define the stitch by the pair of adjacent needle location data which has not been disregarded at the contraction rate.

Then, character identification codes are constructed according to a predetermined stitching sequence based on the entered individual letter codes and stored outer profiles. Stitch pattern data corresponding to the constructed character identification codes are read out from a memory, and used to control the sewing machine to produce the desired letters having different outer profiles.
