    • The invention comprises a drive system for use in association with a wheelchair. The drive system includes at least one input gear system, a structure for powering at least one input gear system, at least one transfer gear system, a positioning member, and a structure for transferring movement of the transfer gear system to a wheel. The positioning member positions the desired one of at least two sets of gears of the at least one transfer gear with at least one of the two sets of gears of the at least one input gear system through slidable movement of the at least one of the transfer gear system and the input gear system along their respective axes of rotation. This, in turn, engages the desired gear of the transfer gear system to the desired gear of the input gear system during continuous rotation of these gears. Additionally, the invention includes a handle member for use with a linear conversion system. Further, the invention includes a structure for preventing seizure of a linear conversion system in the event of an improper direction selection.

    • The subject of the invention is a solenoid generator for generating alternating voltage that produces almost identical electric voltage at low revolutions as at considerably higher revolutions, in which especially the value of available electric current and frequency change. When driven, the generator of the invention does not need a reducer or multiplicator. It functions by the principle of at least two solenoids preferably provided with several galvanic separated windings (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 ), through the centres whereof are axially embedded (5, 5') shafts (1, 1 ', 1 ") with fastened permanent magnets (2, 3, 2', 3', 2", 3"), which are jointly and in a synchronous manner driven by an eccentric system that connects them with the drive medium.

    • The invention relates to a drive gear for conversion of swinging motion into continuous rotation, designed for hand or foot drive, to convert swinging motion into continuous rotation with single- or double-acting drive, equipped with a global coupling and brake. Drive gear of a muscle-driven vehicle having a static axle (1) placed in its geometrical center on which axle two angular gears (4, 4') are borne and interconnected by means of turning gears (5, 5') borne on axles (2, 2') which are radially fitted onto the ctnral static axle (1), whereas two unidirectional gear rotation locks (7, 7') both facing the locking direction are fitted onto cylindrical extensions (6, 6') of the two angular gears (4, 4'), the external housings of said rotation locks having been pressed non-removably into drive plates (8, 8') which are fitted at their periphery with coupling grooves (9, 9') into whcih output guiding rails (3, 3') are keyed while making their axial shift, the guiding raisl also being axially shiftable through grooves (10, 10') at the left side (11) and right side (11') of the housing, output guiding raisl (3, 3') haivng been fixed by one of their extreme points, to a thrust plate (12) and by their opposite sides to a brake ring (13), both dirve plates (8, 8') having been mechanically in a rigid way linked with the outer housing (14) of the complete drive gear, and centrally borne on the drive plates (8, 8').
