摘要： The present invention discloses a magnet driven capsule type endoscope comprising an image recording unit as well as an image data processing unit, a position sensor for providing data about the position of the capsule type endoscope with respect to the direction of gravitation, a data transmitting unit, an energy source for supplying the units and the sensor with energy and a permanent magnet. In accordance with the invention, the permanent magnet is arranged offset with respect to the center of gravity and to the geometrical center of the capsule type endoscope.

摘要： A rigid endoscope includes a jacket tube with an optical system and, parallel to the optical axis of the optical system, a first glass fiber bundle which emits a beam to illuminate an object to be examined. A second optical illumination system is directed at the object being examined. The second light exit of the second optical illumination system is recessed from the first light exit of the optical system by a distance greater than a diameter of the jacket tube. The light exit axis at the second light exit of the second optical illumination system is offset laterally relative to the image axis at the distal end of the optical system by an amount such that because of the resultant parallax and the shadow formation and unequal light distribution thus attained, the vividness of the image impression for three dimensional objects is increased.

摘要： The medical implant for treating pathological obesity is adapted to modify and, as an alternative, to bypass the natural food passage in the digestive tract. The implant permits an adjustable bypassing of food into the small intestine and/or into the stomach (natural digestive path). Since the ratio of this bypass is adjustable in the course of the treatment by the physician, e.g. with the aid of an endoscope, for the first time a balance between the therapeutic effect and the side-effects can be adapted individually to each patient by the use of the implant. The implant has a hollow body with first and a second tubular end portions and at least one third lateral opening having a hose-like extension. The individual at least partly closable hose-like extensions differ in their ability to allow the passage of food into the stomach. Closing individual hose-like extensions at least partially by means of an endoscope leads to an individually adjustable distribution of food between the stomach and the small-intestine loop.
