    • Systems and methods for ranking an investor are described. An investor is one buying an investment position. The ranking comprises generating a skill score for each investor of a plurality of investors, where the skill score represents an Information Ratio (IR) of the investor. The ranking comprises generating a persistence score for each investor of the plurality of investors such that the persistence score represents skill of the investor relative to a benchmark. The ranking comprises generating a confidence score for each investor of the plurality of investors. The confidence score represents an investment win percentage relative to an investment loss percentage. The ranking comprises generating a rank score for each investor by combining the skill score, the persistence score and the confidence score. The rank score categorizes the investor relative to other investors based upon historical investment data and real-time brokerage account data.

    • A system, method and device for determining load profile of a power line conductor supplying power to a plurality of power customers is provided. In one embodiment the system includes an automated meter reading system configured to receive meter data including data of the power consumed by each of the plurality of power customers as measured by the power meters; a phase detection system configured to determine one of the plurality of power lines to which each of the power meters is electrically connected; a meter grouping system configured to determine groups of power meter that are commonly connected to the plurality of power line conductors; and a load profile system configured to determine a load profile for each group of power meters by combining the meter data from each meter of each group over a plurality of time periods.

    • A system for controlling an aerospace vehicle using on-line inertia estimation may include an attitude sensor to measure an attitude of the aerospace vehicle. The system may also include a processor on board the aerospace vehicle. An inertia estimator operable on the processor may generate an on-line inertia estimate of the aerospace vehicle. A rate and attitude estimator operable on the processor may determine an angular position and angular velocity of the aerospace vehicle using the attitude measurement of the aerospace vehicle and the on-line inertia estimate for controlling movement and orientation of the aerospace vehicle without any rates of rotation of the aerospace vehicle being required.

    • Systems and methods for generating a performance index are described. A rank score is generated for each investor relative to a group of investors of which the investor is a member. Generation of the rank score uses investment data of a portfolio of the investor, and the portfolio comprises at least one investment position. A set of investors is selected from the group of investors, and the selection is based on the rank score of each investor. The performance index is generated to provide a measure of performance of top individual investors over time relative to a market index. Generation of the performance index includes generating a composite portfolio comprising investment positions of each portfolio of each investor of the set of investors.

    • A system and method for determining one of a plurality of power line phase conductors to which a remote device is electrically connected via a low voltage power line and transformer, and wherein each power line conductor carries a different phase of power is provided. In one embodiment, the method includes transmitting a different data beacon at a zero crossing of a voltage of the power of each of a plurality of power line phase conductors and storing in a memory information of the data beacon transmitted at the zero crossing of each phase conductor. At the remote device the method includes receiving a first data beacon, determining whether the first data beacon was received at a zero crossing of the voltage, and if the first data beacon was received at a zero crossing of the voltage, transmitting a phase notification that includes information of the first beacon and information identifying the remote device from the remote device. Finally, at a computer system, the method includes receiving the phase notification accessing the memory to determine a power line conductor to which the remote device is electrically connected.
