    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength and high-durability coating material for external facing which is suitable for use on the external facing surface of a roof, an exterior wall, etc. of a building or a construction, and has not only both fire resistance and water resistance but also excellent elastic properties, and high crack resistance, flex resistance and impact resistance.
      SOLUTION: This coating material for external facing is obtained by kneading a solid component with a liquid component containing an alkali-resistant elastic resin solvent as an hardening liquid. In the solid component, a powder component containing a calcareous component, an aggregate, a foaming agent for generating incombustible gas by heat from a fire, a char-layer forming substance for forming a char layer by foaming by the heat from the fire, and a coating-type char-layer forming catalyst which is microcapsulated by being thinly coated with a water-resistant resin are blended.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound fire-resistant building material which can exert fire resistance and water resistance even if a substrate of a main body is formed of a combustible material with low strength, has improved cracking resistance, flexing resistance, impact resistance, etc., and is suitably available for internal and external finishing such as a roof, internal and external walls, etc. of a building and a structure.
