    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount and demount the blades to a hub by providing the clearance for accomodating a claw in a groove, and a projecting part mounted on the clearance, extended outward, and engageable with a lower side of the claw. SOLUTION: An ordinary propeller hub is rotatably mounted on an adjustment plate, that is, a blade supporting plate 1, and can be displaced in the angular direction on an radial axis 2 of a variable pitch propeller. A hub ordinarily comprises two blade supporting plates, but can comprise three or more blade supporting plates optionally. The axes 2 in the radial direction of the hub are positioned at equal intervals in the angular direction on the axis of the hub. An upper side 3 of each blade supporting plate 1 is flat, and comprises two claws 4 projecting inward in the radial direction, extended along the peripheral direction of each blade supporting plate 1, and faced to each other in the diameter direction. The clearance is formed between the claws and the upper side of the blade supporting plate.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the structure length of an underground structure part by having a hollow piston provided with a stroke cylinder opened toward an adjusting rod, and storing a thrust bearing in the hollow piston. SOLUTION: An adjusting mechanism 10 includes an adjusting rod 13, and the adjusting rod 13 is arranged inside of a propeller shaft 6 so as to be extended, exceeding both ends thereof. An end of the adjusting rod 13 is connected to the adjusting mechanism 10, and a radial flange 14 is provided, and the radial flange is supported by a thrust bearing 15. The thrust bearing 15 is arranged inside of the hollow piston 16, and a cylinder 17 for storing the hollow piston is inserted into a casing 1. With this structure, structure length to be required for thrust bearing becomes unnecessary, and the hydraulic oil or the lubricating oil is supplied to the thrust bearing for lubrication and cooling through the lubricating oil supplying passage or the lubricating oil supplying hole on the basis of a pressure difference between a rotating part and a fixed part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control or adjust a boat with one manual lever by providing one manual lever to be turned within an operation guide flat surface or a control guide flat surface, and increasing or decreasing the blade pitch within the turning area with increase of the turning angle of the manual lever so as to increase the number of revolution of a motor. SOLUTION: A turning shaft 2 is supported by a casing 1 of a manual lever control device, and a manual lever 5 is supported by the turning shaft 2 freely to be turned around a shaft 4 vertical to an axis 3 of the turning shaft 2. The manual lever 5 is passed through a casing cover 6, and extended through a switching passage formed in the casing cover. The turning shaft 2 is connected to a potentiometer 10, and the potentiometer belongs to a device for changing the blade pitch of a variable pitch propeller. The turning shaft 2 is connected to a motor control device for motor. With this structure, a boat operator can securely control each function of the variable propeller and a clutch.
