[Cognate Application, 16,564/11.] Dust, preventing rising and spreading of.- The dust raised by motor asd other vehicles is drawn through wheel conduits into a collecting- box by suction produced by a fan or the equivalent or by air collected by the motion of the vehicle. Fig. 2 shows one construction of apparatus in which a fan is employed. The fan d delivers air through the pipes h and the collecting-box l, thereby inducing dust-laden air through the bell-mouthed conduits b, c. These conduits may all lead into a common intermediate chamber which communicates with the collecting-box, or may each be connected to the latter independently. The collecting-box is provided with suitable compartments or baffles and with gauze-covered outlets for the air. The collected dust is dumped through a sliding or hinged door operated by levers from the front of the car. In a modified construction, the fan is omitted and branch pipes from the conduits b leading to the front of the vehicle are used to collect air by means of the motion of the vehicle, and may be closed by internal flap valves. Shields may be mounted so as to project in front of the wheels to direct the draught of air to the collectors or conduits. The mouths of the conduits may be wholly or partially closed by suitable means. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 9040/06, 14,387/06, 12,018/07, and 15,660/07.

摘要： The present technology is directed generally to tapered, curved stylets for inserting spinal cord modulation leads, and associated systems and methods. In some embodiments, the stylet includes a handle and a shaft, the shaft having a proximal portion adjacent to the handle, a distal portion adjacent to the proximal portion, and a rounded tip. The proximal portion can be elongated along a longitudinal axis and can have a generally constant diameter. The distal portion can have a tapered section with a diameter that decreases in a distal direction, and a pre-set curve with respect to the longitudinal axis. The rounded tip can have a diameter greater than or equal to the smallest diameter of the distal portion.
