    • An anisotropic conductive film which can be connected electrically at a narrow pitch, can be further increased in strength than the conventional example in the surface direction of the film, and can be improved in adhesion with an object and a preferable manufacturing method of the film. A winding coil block is manufactured by winding an insulated conductor composed of a metallic thin wire and one or more covering layers composed of an insulating material around a core and fusion-joining and/or press-contacting the covering films to each other by heating and/or pressurizing the films and the coil block is sliced into pieces having a prescribed film thickness. As a result, an anisotropic conductive film in which conducting passages (2) (metallic thin wire) are arranged on a film substrate (1) in a state where the passages are isolated from each other and passed through the substrate (1) in the thickness direction is obtained. When the metallic wire is covered with two covering layers, the external covering layer corresponds to the substrate (1) and the internal covering layer becomes a covering layer (3). After the coil block is sliced into the pieces, each piece can be used as a product without removing the core section.
