摘要： Improved methods and apparatus for completing unconsolidated subterranean zones penetrated by well bores are provided. The methods basically comprise the steps of placing a slotted pipe having openings formed therein which vary in size or in the number of openings along the length of the slotted pipe or both in the subterranean zone, isolating the annulus between the slotted pipe and the well bore and injecting particulate material into the annulus whereby the particulate material is uniformly packed therein.

摘要： Devices and processes are provided for removing impurities from a fluid recovered from a subterranean environment. An example of a device for removing an inorganic impurity from a recovered fluid includes: a housing; a filter media, the filter media comprising an adsorbent material and being contained within the housing; and at least one connection to the housing so that the recovered fluid may enter the housing in at least one entrance and exit the housing out of at least one exit. The device may be coupled to an additional filter media and the filter media may comprise a cellulose compound. The device is preferably portable to permit on-site delivery of the device to an oil and gas well site.

Also disclosed are methods comprising providing an aqueous treatment fluid comprising water, an anionic salt, a water-based friction reducing polymer in an amount sufficient to provide friction reduction without forming a gel, a polyol, an anionic surfactant, and an ionic surfactant; and introducing the aqueous treatment fluid into a subterranean formation.
