    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appliance allowing easy transport and the selection of a place for use mainly for escaping from an elevated place in a disaster emergency, further allowing the free motion of hands and feet during the use, eliminating the need of special physical strength, and alleviating a shock at the time of landing after jumping down from the elevated place. SOLUTION: Ribs 2 are radially fitted to a parachute type cloth 1. A pillar 3 is extended downward from the center of the cloth 1 and a hollow component is connected to the external side of the pillar 3 via the ribs 2 and a support for opening and closing the cloth 1. In a completely opened state, a stopper works and keeps the opened shape of the cloth 1. Furthermore, the lower part of the pillar 3 is provided with a safety belt 8 and a cross bar 9 for connecting a body to an appliance. Also, ropes 7 are extended from the ends of the ribs 2 to the lower part of the pillar 3, so as to maintain a parachute part shape at the time of falling.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attract a track to a wheel to prevent the turnover of a rolling stock by providing a coil having an axis corresponding to the vertical line passing the contact between the wheel and the track on the wheel so as to surround the wheel without contact, and carrying a current to the coil. SOLUTION: A first coil 1 and a second coil 2 are mounted so as to surround a wheel 3 and a part of the brake pad 5 of a braking device 4. Since the braking device 4 has the structure of exhibiting a braking force by the contact of the brake pad 5 with the wheel 3, the coil cannot be located in the middle between the brake pad 5 and the wheel 3. Accordingly, the coil surrounds not only the wheel 3 but also a part of the brake pad 5. When a current is carried to the coil, the wheel 3 that is a magnetic body forms an electromagnet having the contact with a track 7 as one pole and the other end or the part farthest from the rail as another pole by the magnetic field emitted by the coil. In stopping a track horizontally inclined position, the wheel 3 is attracted to the track 7 by carrying the current to the coil to prevent the turnover of a rolling stock.
