摘要： A machine for ironing and piling up socks comprising: - a circular plate (1) with horizontal central shaft (12); - an electric motor (2); - several flat forms (10) for supporting the socks, distributed so that they are equidistant around a circumference of the said plate (1), extending out from the same face of the plate (1) and pointing substantially tangentially with respect to the latter and with a horizontal shaft (13); - a curved cam (3) located on the opposite side from the forms (10) with respect to the plate (1) in order to control the rotation of each form (10) in interaction with a corresponding feeler (15) with return spring (16); - a chamber (4) for steaming and pressing the socks; - a chamber (5) for pressing and drying the socks; - a gripper (6) for removing the sock thus ironed, in the position with the leg and foot horizontal, acting in correspondence with the zone of the foot (14) and in order to deposit it on a horizontal conveyor belt (7) located below; - several suction nozzles (9) supported by a horizontal arm (90) for picking up and vertically lifting the sock thus extracted and with defects removed in order to transfer it onto a separate moving support surface; - means for signalling and memorising the position of the support forms (10) with a defective sock on them and for activating the said gripper (6) and the said arm (90) with a device of the PLC type which can be associated with a push-button controlled by the operator.

摘要： Method for joining two edges of a knitted tubular manufactured product, particularly a stocking (hose), including the phase of manufacturing a manufactured product with a circular machine with just one cylinder, starting with the elastic edge and ending on the side of the tip which remains open, which method envisages: (a) raising a predetermined number of needles (3) of a first half-row; (b) subsequently raising the said needles (3) to allow the corresponding stitches (8) to be taken up; (c) raising to the same level a predetermined number of needles (7) with the stitches (80) of the second half-row; (d) taking up the said stitches (8); (e) lowering the said needles (3) of the first half-row; (f) transferring the stitches (8) thus taken up onto the corresponding needles (7) of the second half-row, turning them over (turning them round, twisting them); (g) raising the needles (7) of the second half-row; (h) locating the superimposed pairs of stitches (8, 80) of each needle (7) of the second half-row strictly juxtaposed and coaxial; (i) subsequently raising the needles (7) of the second half-row; (l) turning the needle cylinder (1) with an intermittent movement and, in each step, inserting a mending-in (grafting, linking) needle (9) into a pair of stitches thus raised, supplying it with some thread (F) used for knitting the manufactured product, without a break in continuity, and then extracting it in order to form a mending-in (grafting) stitch; (m) after making the last mending-in stitch, making two or more than two closure knots (I, II); (n) cutting the thread (F); (o) lowering the needles (7) of the second half-row until the threads are taken down from the hooks.
