    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor wire cable, especially, with power transmission efficiency enhanced, cost reduced and capable of securing safety of a user, concerning an energy-saving one using a conductor. SOLUTION: The conductor wire cable formed of a plurality of kinds of metal or alloys includes a single (bundle) wire cable or a double (bundle) wire cable, and, as concerns at least one bundle of the conductors, each is composed of a thin conductive wire 21 made of two or more kinds of metal or alloys, and the wire is covered with an insulator 22 to make up a conductive wire cable. With the sufficient use of a skin effect of the metal wire cable, a power transmission volume and efficiency of the metal wire cable are enhanced. And also, for effectively decreasing temperature of the wire cable in use, a ventilation means 1 is provided for cooling the metal by restraining heat at current carrying.     • A multilayer composite conductor comprises an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer comprises at least one wire which has a conductivity of 60% to 70% IACS as a core of the multilayer composite conductor; wherein a volume of the inner layer is 40% to 55% of a total volume of the multilayer composite conductor; and the outer layer comprises multiple wires which have a conductivity of 70% to 98% IACS, and the outer layer is wound around the inner layer; wherein a volume of the outer layer is 45% to 60% of the total volume of the multilayer composite conductor. In another aspect, the present invention also provides a method for manufacturing a multilayer composite conductor. At the same current-carrying surface, the multilayer composite conductor of the present invention saves more than 60% of copper usage, thereby achieving light weight and low cost.

    • Apparatus and methods for transaction processing. The apparatus may be a transaction terminal including a keypad, a circuit for interacting with the transaction customer and a link communicatively connecting the keypad and the customer-interaction circuit. The cashier may interact with the keypad, while the customer (and not the cashier) may interact with the customer-interaction circuit. The link may communicate a dollar amount for the transaction between the keypad and the customer-interaction circuit. Accessories for the keypad may include a check reader, a display or a receipt printer. Accessories for the customer-interaction circuit may include a smart-card reader, a magnetic-strip reader and biometric readers. The customer-interaction circuit may include a port for connection to a remote service provider. That port may be the only remote-access port in the transaction terminal. The customer-interaction circuit may include a virtual keypad, and the circuit itself maybe programmed to capture a personal identifier number by means of that virtual keypad. The customer-interaction circuit may include virtual paper, and the circuit itself may be programmed to capture a signature by means of the virtual paper. A cash register at the POS location with the transaction terminal may not be communicatively coupled to the transaction terminal.

    • A method of manufacturing LED light string includes the steps of forming an LED light body from multiple serially connected printed circuit boards, fixing the LED light body to a base, and connecting a light-transmissible shell to the light body to form a cluster lamp; preparing a power cord, to which multiple lamp sockets are serially connected; fitting multiple cluster lamps to the lamp sockets on the power cord, so that the LED light bodies are made to emit light. A lampshade is detachably engaged with each lamp socket. The lampshade and the lamp socket may be differently designed to create romantic feeling. The number of LED light bodies on each cluster lamp and the number of cluster lamps on one LED light string may be varied as desired to increase the brightness of the light string while reduce the manufacturing cost of the LED light string.

Each bare conductor is mounted in a corresponding groove of the conductor keeper and has a first end and a second end. The first end and second end of the bare conductor protrude out of the conductor keeper respectively so as to form two spaces. The dielectric tape is wrapped around the conductor keeper. The plastic jacket is coated around the dielectric tape. Two copper cylinders are mounted in the spaces of the bare conductors respectively to make the bare conductors surround the copper cylinders and the bare conductors connect to each other in parallel. Therefore, the skin effect is minimized and the bare conductors are efficient in that power consumption and emission of carbon dioxide during copper-smelting are significantly reduced.
