摘要： The present invention pertains to a compound sanitary napkin. The compound sanitary napkin comprises an acquisition/storage member including an absorbent element and an outer cover. The acquisition/storage member preferably has a base and an apex; the apex being vertically opposed to the base. The width of the base is greater than the width of the apex. The compound sanitary napkin further comprises an accumulation member that is connected to the acquisition/storage member juxtaposed the base. The accumulation member comprises a liquid impervious backsheet and an absorbent material joined thereto. Preferably, the accumulation member includes a backsheet, a topsheet joined to the backsheet and an absorbent core disposed between the backsheet and the topsheet. The compound sanitary napkin of the present invention further comprises a bearing member which connects the acquisition/storage member to the accumulation member; the acquisition/storage member being slidably connected to the bearing member and the bearing member being joined to the accumulation member adjacent their respective end edges. In an alternative embodiment, the bearing member can flare to a greater width adjacent the end edges of the accumulation member.

The interlabial absorbent structure comprises a pair of absorbent panels that are sufficiently flexible such that the panels can, at least partially, conform to the walls of a wearer's interlabial space. 摘要： A tampon and a tampon applicator in combination for expulsion of a tampon. The tampon applicator has a tampon holder tube. The tampon holder tube has a hollow interior portion, a first end dimensioned for insertion into a vaginal cavity, a second end positioned oppositely to the first end, a force controller, and at least one side expulsion member. The side expulsion member has a weakened region located at its base. The tampon has a body having a first end, center, and a second end; body has a joined portion; the body has a plurality of absorbent strips joined at the joined portion. The strips are selected from the group consisting of nonwoven materials, films, woven materials, absorbent foams, superabsorbent polymers, and mixtures thereof. The tampon is housed within the hollow interior portion of the tampon holder tube in a pre-expelled position.
