摘要： Exemplary embodiments of a ventilating system for regulating a property of an electrical equipment cabinet are provided, generally including a duct configured and dimensioned to be mounted with respect to the electrical equipment cabinet. The exemplary ventilating system generally includes a damper mounted with respect to the duct and a sensor mounted with respect to at least one of the electrical equipment cabinet and the duct. The sensor is generally effective to generate signals related to the property. Exemplary methods for regulating a property of an electrical equipment cabinet with a ventilating system are provided, generally including throttling the damper based at least in part upon a sensed property to maintain a substantially zero pressure or temperature environment in the electrical equipment cabinet.

The rack includes a first upright and a second upright attached to opposite respective lateral sides of a base and a top member, and respective side-facing panels. Each of the panels defines a plurality of vent holes arranged in an array and permit the rack to receive a sideways flow of cooling air into a first side of the rack through one of the vent hole arrays for cooling a heat-generating device mounted between the panels, and permit the rack to discharge a sideways flow of exhaust air through the other vent hole array. Each of the array of vent holes may manifest a honeycomb pattern of vent holes, and each of the vent holes may manifest an hexagonal shape. A cable management system includes a cable management rack for accommodating a heat generating device, a first baffle mounted with respect to a first upright of the rack and for redirecting a rearward flow of cool air sideways from a space adjacent a front side of the rack, and a second baffle mounted with respect to a second upright of the rack and for redirecting a sideways flow of exhaust air from the rack and through the second upright into a space adjacent a rear side of the rack. A method of cooling a heat-generating device mounted in or on a cable management rack includes providing a sideways flow of cooling air into the rack and into the device.

A mounting assembly is disclosed including a swing gate adapted to host a plurality of telecommunications equipment. The swing gate is hingedly attached to a support frame by a pair of aligned hinges adapted to allow the swing gate to open and close. The support frame includes support members defining an opening for fitting telecommunications equipment within the support frame when the swing gate is closed. The support frame is adapted to be mounted with respect to various mounting locations such as a support structure of a raised floor or drop ceiling, a wall, and/or a cabinet. A cabinet adapted to enclose the support frame includes walls defining a cavity. At least one of the walls is a front door adapted to open and close and allow access to the swing gate when the front door is open. The cabinet is adapted to be mounted with respect to a raised floor, drop ceiling, or a wall. The hinges connecting the swing gate to the support frame are aligned crooked arm hinges positioning the swing gate off set from the front face of the support frame. An exemplary assembly includes a cabinet having walls defining a cavity. One of the walls is a front door adapted to open and close. A swing gate is hingedly connected to the cabinet by a pair of aligned crooked arm hinges. The cabinet is plenum rated defining at least one fire stopped cable opening for drop ceiling mounting.
