SOLUTION: The frame is provided with two bases 12, 13 of which rear part horizontally extends rearward to form a space for receiving a rear wheel, and two stays 14, 15 obliquely extending toward each one end part of the bases 12, 13 and joined with the same at acute angles by a joining means. A pair of recess parts for receiving a shaft of the wheel are arranged at positions where the stays 14, 15 cross the bases 12, 13. Each recess part of the pair of the recess parts is provided with a first notch 23 including a semicircular bottom on one flat section of the base and a second notch 24 including a semicircular bottom on an end part flat section of the stay and arranged to face the first notch 23. The semicircular bottoms are mutually aligned.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic pedal of a bicycle, which is easily adjustable of a lateral position of a pedal body with a simple, sure and low-cost means. SOLUTION: The pedal comprises the pedal body 1 with a hook, and a cartridge 5 receiving a pedal shaft 6 and received in a receiving hole 7 in a lateral direction of the pedal. The receiving hole 7 is equipped with a female screw 9 threadedly engaging with a screw thread 8 on the cartridge 5, allows continuous adjustment of a lateral position of the cartridge 5 and is equipped with a retention means for the lateral position of the pedal. The retention means comprises a ring 10 preventing rotation of the cartridge 5. The ring 10 is connected to the cartridge 5 by a securing member 11 equipped on an end of the cartridge 5 and a securing member 13 equipped on the ring.
