摘要： A method for controlling interference is described. The method includes receiving an indication that a first carrier is not received by a first base station and a second carrier is received by the first base station (610). Assigning a maximum transmission power for the first carrier so as not to exceed a transmission power for the second carrier is also included (620). The method also includes simultaneously transmitting from a UE on at least the first carrier and the second carrier. Transmitting on the first carrier is performed in accordance with the maximum assigned transmission power (630). Apparatuses and computer readable media are also described.

摘要： A method, apparatus and software related product avoid UL interference in a victim LPN (20) such as femtocell using a discontinuous reception (DRX) by the LPN (20) coordinated with the UL discontinuous transmission (DTX) of UEs (22) to the LPN (20) and to one or more HPNs (27,28) such as NBs (or Home NB), e.g. in HSPA systems. The victim LPN (20) may start DRX having ON and OFF periods. Then the LPN (20) sends information about DRX to its UEs (LUEs 22) communicating with the LPN (20), and to one or more network elements such as aggressor HPNs' RNCs. The network element(s) are adapted to identify and configure aggressor UEs (HUEs 24,26) communicating with one or more HPNs (27,28) of the network for coordinating ON and OFF periods of the discontinuous reception by the LPN (20) with transmissions of the LUEs (22) and the HUEs (24,26) to avoid interference during the OFF periods of the DRX in the LPN (20).
