    • The present invention relates to units or modules for data acquisition that may either be used as stand alone units or be used to form a modular system where a plurality of modules are mounted together in a frame or rack structure as well as combinations of such stand-alone units and frames. More specifically the invention relates to a module for data acquisition comprising a detachable front unit (3) for releasable attachment to said module ( 1 ) comprising one or more first electrical connector means (4) for receiving data or signals from external units, such as microphones and/or accelerometers, and/or for providing data or signals, such as control signals, to external units; a main body comprising means (6) of establishing electrical connection to said one or more connector means (4) in said front unit (3), when said front unit (3) is connected to said module (1 ); and where the main body being furthermore provided with data output connector means (10); whereby data or signals provided to the module ( 1 ) via said one or more first electrical connector means (4), or processed versions of such signals or data, can be provided from said module (1 ) to one or more external units, such as a PC, via said data output connector means (10).

    • The invention comprises a method for depth adjustment of trawl and trawl doors (202) primarily for trawl fishing, where the trawl doors together with a trawl are towed after at least one vessel, where the trawl doors generate an outwards pull on the trawl relative to the direction of movement of the vessel, whereby the trawl remains open, where the trawl doors contain a first set of connecting means (16) for fastening at least one towing wire which is connected with the vessel, where the trawl doors, contain a second set of connecting means (220) for fastening at least one wire drawing the trawl. It is the object of the invention to enable- depth adjustment of trawl by adjusting trawl doors at the side facing the ship. The second set of connecting means of the trawl doors interacts with a fitting (222), where the fitting has at least a first and a second position, where the fitting is moved from the first to the second position at the inner side of the trawl doors. In that the trawl ' doors can be hoisted up e.g. at the stern of a ship with the inner side facing the ship, adjusting the depth of the trawl may thereby be effected by a relatively simple movement of a fitting. During use of the trawl door, the fitting is of course to be fastened, but a solution with one or more bolts (228, 244) will enable adjustment between several positions. Thus it becomes possible to perform a very rapid resetting of the depth of the trawl which thereby may be adapted more easily to e.g. shoals of fishes at different depths.

    • 1275840 Hulling machines for seed material L PALYI D MILLS and H LARSEN 27 July 1970 [28 July 1969] 36275/70 Heading A2Q Grain or other seed material is dehulled in a machine comprising a drum 12 rotatable in a housing, the drum and housing being so formed and arranged as to provide a first annular passage 56 in which the grain or seed moves radially, a second annular passage 62 in which the grain or seed moves parallel to the axis of the drum, and a smooth contoured connecting passage 60 between the first and second passages. The first passage tapers in the radial direction and is provided with rubber linings 52, 54 secured respectively to the housing and drum, while a shaped ring preferably of stainless steel defines the fixed wall of the connecting passage 60 in conjunction with a correspondingly shaped peripheral edge of the drum. Beating knives 88, 89 are secured to the cylindrical outer surface of the drum, the knives 88 extending only over the length of the passage 62 while the knives 89 are extended by a curved portion 90 around the curve of the connecting passage. The lining 54 and the knives 88, 89 are replaceable by linings and knives of different thicknesses to adapt the machine for different sizes and types of seed material. In addition, the drum is axially adjustable with respect to the housing by mounting it on a shaft 10 which is axially slidable by an arrangement comprising bearings 14, 16, of which the former is slidable in the housing, and is urged against a ring 28 on the shaft by a sliding thrust ring 26 and a spring 22 bearing at its other end on a fixed ring 24, while the latter bearing is mounted in a recess in a slidable sleeve 32 and engages a second ring 30 on the shaft. Adjustment of the sleeve 32 is effected by screws 38 and the sleeve 32 is then locked in position by a handwheel 34. The shaft 10 is additionally supported at its opposite end in a slidable bearing 18. The grain or seed is fed to the region 48 surrounding the shaft 10 at the entrance to the first passage 56 from a charging opening 42 via a controlling slide 46 operated by a handle 44. The passage 62 may be bounded externally either wholly by a perforated cylindrical plate 64, as shown in Fig. 2, or, as in Fig. 4, only over the lower half of its circumference by the perforated plate, and over the remainder of its circumference by a non-perforated plate 100 provided with a rubber lining 102 having axially directed grooves 104. In place of the grooves 104, bristles may be provided, (Fig. 5, not shown) or the rubber lining may be plain (Fig. 6). Grooves or bristles may also be provided on the lining 54 (Figs. 7 and 8, not shown). The machine may be used for barley, oats, rice, maize, wheat, rye, soya beans, rape seed, sunflower seed or sesame seed. (For Figures see next page)
