    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel hand-held surgical instrument used by a physician to gain access to an interior region of a body. SOLUTION: The hand-held instrument is equipped with a first functional instrument 20 with a first handle 22 including a surface gripped by a first finger and a surface gripped by a second finger to simultaneously grip with at least two fingers and a second functional instrument 40 with a second handle 42 including a surface gripped by a third finger and a surface gripped by a fourth finger to simultaneously grip with at least two fingers. The first functional instrument 20 engages the second functional instrument 40 to form a composite instrument. When the first functional instrument 20 engages the second functional instrument 40, the first handle 22 is coupled with the second handle 42 to form a composite handle fitting together so that the composite surfaces gripped by four fingers are formed.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for surgical operation that is for accurately and securely using various kinds of diversified instruments needed for accessing interior body regions penetrating through body tissue including soft tissue and hard tissue.
