    • In a handle switch device of a vehicle, a switch casing which surrounds a bar handle and accommodates a switch in the inside thereof is mounted on the bar handle, and a manipulation knob which manipulate the switch is mounted on a rear wall of the switch casing. The manipulation knob is arranged substantially at the same height as the bar handle and is tiltably supported on the switch casing by way of a pivot shaft, the switch is formed of a slide-type switch in which a movable contact holder slides, the switch is arranged in the inside of the switch casing above or below the bar handle, and the manipulation knob and the movable contact holder are connected with each other by way of moving direction conversion means which converts a tilting of the manipulation knob to a linear movement and transmits the linear movement to the movable contact holder. Thus, it is possible to provide a handle switch device of a vehicle which exhibits favorable manipulability of a manipulation knob and has a compact shape.

    • A vehicle height control device that includes a pressure sensor 28 for detecting the pressure of compressed air supplied to pneumatic shock absorbers 10 for pneumatically bearing the load of a vehicle loads applied through the wheels. A control circuit 30 is included for controlling vehicle height based on the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 28. A waveform shaping circuit is connected between the control circuit 30 and the pressure sensor 28 and shapes the waveform to moderate the pressure change while the pressure is rising to a greater degree than while the pressure is dropping. The waveform shaping circuit includes a passive low-pass filter circuit 38, an active low-pass filter circuit 52 and a pair of diodes 70 and 72. The diodes 70 and 72 connected to the active filter circuit 52, allowing rapid capacitor discharge during decreases in signal amplitude while maintaining a slow discharge rate during decreases in signal amplitude.

    • A construction of a starter motor for taking off the power to the outside, is operable wherein the power from the starter motor can be taken off as the externally operating section other than the power of an engine. The starter motor includes a first reduction mechanism having a motor shaft as an input shaft. The motor shaft transmits power to a coaxial output shaft. A pinion gear is provided on the engine side of the first output shaft in association with a ring gear. A second reduction mechanism utilizes the first output shaft as an input shaft, to transmit power to a second output shaft. The second output shaft is rotatably coupled onto the first output shaft and coaxial therwith, to permit the power to be taken off to the outside near the pinion gear. The first and second reduction mechanisms each include a sun gear provided on the input shaft, an internal gear and a plurality of planetary gears provided between the sun gear and the internal gear and being mesh with the both gears. The first and second reduction mechanism are axially arranged within a first and second bracket which are integrally fixed to each other by bolts.
