    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suitably comparing RNA sequences related to a secondary structure without directly knowing the secondary structure of an original RNA sequence.
SOLUTION: This RNA sequence information processing method includes a sequence generating step and a sequence comparing step. In the sequence generating step, stem candidates which are candidates of a stem region of the RNA secondary structure are extracted from biological sequence information including the RNA sequences or RNA, to generate stem candidate sequence information composed of sequences of stem candidates. In the sequence comparing step, a dynamic planning method using the stem candidates as comparison units is applied to a plurality of stem candidate sequences to compare the plurality of stem candidate sequences and to compute the similarity of the plurality of stem candidate sequences.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for gasifying and burning various kinds of wastes thereby reducing the concentration of dioxins at the furnace outlet of a burning furnace.SOLUTION: In a fluidized bed type thermal reaction apparatus, various kinds of wastes are dried, thermally decomposed and gasified on the fluidized bed of a fluidized bed type thermal reaction apparatus at 450-650°C, and gasified gas and char (fine carbon particles) are burned on a free board of the upper space at 850-1,050°C to attain complete burning. In the thermal reaction apparatus, the amount of air to be supplied into an area in the vicinity of a layer upper part wherein various wastes are thrown or wherein unburned gas containing much of dioxins is generated and raised, is made to be 30-60% of the amount of theoretical burned air relative to the entire burned object, and the temperature of the unburned gas raised region before the dioxins reach the board and are spread is made to be 850-1,100°C, causing the dioxins to be decomposed highly efficiently with a sufficient amount of oxygen and at high temperature right after the dioxins are generated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat dioxins in a fluidized bed type incinerator and to reduce construction costs and maintenance management costs of facilities.SOLUTION: In a furnace structure, a container bearing structural strength of a furnace has a circular horizontal section and utilizes merits of a cylindrical shape advantageous for strength and thermal loss, a hearth of a fluidized bed part is an inclined plane shape inclined downward to an incombustible discharge port and a horizontal face shape of the hearth, which is brought into contact with at least the incombustible discharge port, and a horizontal section shape of a fluid medium inversion wall located on an upper part of the hearth are aligned. A flow direction of an inner circulation flow is set to a direction rectangular to the fluid medium inversion wall and the fluidized bed succeeds merits of the rectangular inner circulation flow to obtain slow gasification/combustion of waste. Then, a generation area of dioxins is narrowed, a sum total of combustion air quantity for decomposing dioxins and air quantity to be supplied to the fluidized bed part is set to 100% or more of logical combustion air quantity to the whole objects to be combusted, and dioxins and their precursors are efficiently decomposed and combusted by a sufficiently large oxygen quantity supplied to a place of a high concentration state of dioxins not diffused just after generation of dioxins and a high temperature. Consequently, construction costs and maintenance managements costs of facilities can be reduced.

    • The connector for a flexible board is equipped with a housing, a plurality of contacts, and a cover. The plurality of contacts are placed so that their contact parts are in two rows along opposing inner wall surfaces of an insertion concavity of the housing. By inserting a pressure-applying part of the cover into the insertion concavity, a flexible printed circuit board (FPC), which has been guided between the cover and the insertion concavity, is pushed in and deformed and held sandwiched between the cover and the insertion concavity, and each contact part of the FPC comes into contact with the contact part of the corresponding contact. The number of contacts capable of being housed within the connector is increased two-fold from that of prior art connectors and the number of contact parts in the flexible board is increased two-fold. Furthermore, operation of the connector is easier.
