摘要： A condenser includes: a top face of a tube plate on which acrylic acid may be condensed inside the condenser; a spray for spreading a polymerization inhibitor on the tube plate; a first polymerization inhibitor supply tube for supplying the polymerization inhibitor to the spray; and a supporter for supporting the spray at a predetermined position. The supporter supports the first polymerization inhibitor supply tube outside the condenser. The condenser allows a stable continuous operation for a long period of time by preventing polymerization of an easily polymerizable compound in the condenser into which a vapor of an easily polymerizable compound is supplied with a simple structure thereof.

摘要： Clogging of a distillation column by polymerization caused by a change of the production rate of (meth)acrylic acid, is prevented to carry out a stabilized operation over a long period. A process for producing (meth)acrylic acid, which includes a purification step wherein a (meth)acrylic acid-containing material to be purified is supplied to and distilled by a distillation column, wherein during a cut operation in which the production rate of (meth)acrylic acid is reduced by α% relative to the production rate of (meth)acrylic acid during the ordinary operation, the liquid/gas flow rate in the distillation column is adjusted to be at least (100−α/2)% of the liquid/gas flow rate during the ordinary operation.

摘要： A multi-tubular reaction apparatus, a control system, and a method are provided for controlling temperature change of a heat medium in the reaction apparatus, and quickly adjusting fluctuation in temperature, to thereby properly control a reaction. In particular, the apparatus and system apply to a catalytic gas-phase oxidation reaction such as in producing (meth)acrylic acid or the like. The reaction apparatus includes a multi-tubular reactor having a plurality of reaction tubes in a shell in which a heat medium circulates, and a heat medium cooling apparatus outside the reactor. The reaction apparatus includes a process for primarily cooling the heat medium taken out outside the shell, a process for secondarily cooling a part of the primarily cooled heat medium, and a line for enabling the secondarily cooled heat medium and the primarily cooled heat medium, which is not secondarily cooled, to circulate in the shell.

摘要： In the stopping and starting operations of a distillation column used for producing (meth)acrylic acids according to the present invention, upon stopping the operation of the distillation column, the heating of a reboiler attached thereto is interrupted and then the reboiler is rapidly cooled; and/or upon starting the operation of the distillation column for production of the (meth)acrylic acids, an inner wall surface of the distillation column is heated to a temperature higher than a condensation temperature of the (meth)acrylic acids and the operation of the distillation column is started under the heated condition. According to the present invention, it is possible to early and safely stop the operation of the distillation column while preventing the occurrence of polymerization within the distillation column, and stably perform an operation for distillation of acrylic monomers for a long period of time.

摘要： A multitube reactor, wherein tubes having smaller tolerance between a nominal size and actual sizes are used as reaction tubes to stably perform a high yield reaction for a long period, a catalyst is filled into the reaction tubes so that the catalyst layer peak temperature portions of the reaction tubes are not overlapped with the connection sites thereof with baffles to effectively prevent hot spots from occurring and stably perform a reaction for a long period without the clogging of the reaction tubes, a heat medium and raw material gas are allowed to flow in the direction of a countercurrent and a specified type of catalyst is filled into the reaction tubes so that activity is increased from the inlet of the raw material gas to the outlet thereof to prevent the autooxidation of products so as to prevent equipment from being damaged due to the reaction, and, at the time of starting, gas with a temperature of 100 to 400° C. is led to the outside of the reaction tubes to increase the temperature of the reaction tubes and, a heat medium, which is solid at the room temperature, is heated to circulate to the outside of the reaction tubes to efficiently start up the reactor without affecting the activity of the catalyst.

摘要： A method of continuously distilling off the components of a mixture containing phenols, water and methanol using a single distillation column, wherein methanol is recovered from the top of the column, water containing phenols is dragged as a side stream from a recovery section of the column, and phenols are recovered as a bottom product. The method permits efficient separation by the single distillation column of the three components with high purity and low utility energy.
