摘要： A modular water leakage detector includes a housing that carries a plurality of water leakage sensors, an electrical water shutoff valve, and circuitry coupled thereto. In response to sensing water leakage, the circuitry actuates the valve to shut off a water supply. Detectors can communicate alarm indicating signals directly with one another. The detectors can include a wireless transmitter and communicate with a displaced alarm monitoring system.

摘要： Systems and methods of device maintenance reporting via a wireless protocol are provided. Systems can include a central station and a plurality of remote systems such that the central station is in wireless bidirectional communication with each of the plurality of remote systems. When the central station receives a maintenance signal from a first of the plurality of remote systems, the central station can poll each of the plurality of remote systems located within a predetermined distance of a location of the first of the plurality of remote systems. The central station can also determine whether a maintenance need exists for each of the plurality of remote systems located within the predetermined distance.

Local feedback provided at the unit or detector for the installer. The units, or detectors can include all devices which can usefully be coupled to the monitoring control element. Examples, without limitation include all types of ambient condition detectors, motion detectors, location detectors, glass break detectors and the like. A light emitting diode carried by a respective unit can be activated to output a selected color when the unit has been successfully enrolled, and in communication with the monitoring control element.

摘要： A security system which includes at least a first sensor, an alarm panel including a control system and programmable apparatus, a connection between the at least one sensor and set alarm panel, a keypad assembly including a camera, and a connection between the keypad assembly and the alarm panel. In various embodiments of the invention the camera includes a CMOS image sensor, the camera produces digital images, the camera tracks the user of the keypad assembly, the camera is remotely controllable from the alarm panel to focus on an object of interest, and/or the camera is remotely controllable from a central monitoring station to focus on an object of interest. In some cases the camera system is configured to take a picture in response to a specific user code entered by the user, take a picture in response to time of day when the input occurs, take a picture in response to invalid code entry and/or take a picture in response to an invalid card being presented. The invention also includes the method for providing enhanced security for protected premises which includes providing at least a first sensor, providing an alarm panel including a control system and programmable apparatus, providing a connection between the at least one sensor and the alarm panel, providing an input device including a camera, and initiating operation of the camera from the alarm panel.
