摘要： An image recording apparatus includes: a first motor for rotating first and second rollers; a second motor; a recording portion provided downstream of the first roller, the second roller provided downstream of the recording portion; a sensor portion provided between the recording portion and the second roller to sense a sheet; and a first gear movable between a first position and a second position where reverse rotational power of the first roller is transmitted to the second roller. When a controller determines that an upstream edge of the sheet in a conveying direction has reached a third position located between the recording portion and the sensor portion, the controller starts driving the second motor to move the first gear from the first position to the second position and thereafter controls the first motor to perform a forward rotation and a reverse rotation alternately a set number of times.

The image forming unit forms an image on a recording medium having a first surface and a second surface. 摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a calculating device, a waiting time calculating device, and a print controlling device. The calculating device divides print data to be printed onto a recording medium into a plurality of zones along a conveyance direction of the recording medium. The waiting time calculating device calculates waiting time from completion of printing onto the recording medium until the recording medium has been dried, based on the printing time and the drying time per each zone in consideration of elapse of the drying time of the previously printed zone(s) during printing. The print controlling device configures settings for printing of the recording medium based on the waiting time and performs printing according to the settings.
