摘要： Provided is an organic electroluminescence device in which a reduction in luminance is suppressed and a lifetime is significantly improved. The object is achieved by an organic electroluminescence device having organic compound layers including an organic emitting layer, which is interposed between at least one pair of electrodes, in which the organic emitting layer is formed of an organic compound material containing an impurity composed of a hydroxyl group-containing compound at a concentration of less than 0.15% by mass, and a method of selecting an organic compound material for the organic electroluminescence device, the method including: determining the content of the impurity; and selecting an organic compound material in which the content is less than 0.15% by mass so that the material is used for forming the organic emitting layer. Provided are a coating film-forming ink, a method of forming a thin film, and a method of producing an organic electroluminescence device.

摘要： An organic electroluminescence device having a layer of an organic light emitting medium which comprises (A) a specific arylamine compound and (B) at least one compound selected from specific anthracene derivatives, spirofluorene derivatives, compounds having condensed rings and metal complex compounds and is disposed between a pair of electrodes and an organic light emitting medium comprising the above components (A) and (B) are provided. The organic electroluminescence device exhibits a high purity of color, has excellent heat resistance and a long life and efficiently emits bluish to yellowish light. The organic light emitting medium can be advantageously used for the organic electroluminescence device.

摘要： An organic electroluminescence device including opposite anode and cathode, and a hole-transporting region, an emitting layer and an electron-transporting region in sequential order from the anode between the anode and the cathode, wherein the emitting layer includes a red emitting portion, a green emitting portion, and a blue emitting portion; the blue emitting portion includes a host BH and a fluorescent dopant FBD; the triplet energy ETfbd of the fluorescent dopant FBD is larger than the triplet energy ETbh of the host BH; the green emitting portion includes a host GH and a phosphorescent dopant PGD; the electron-transporting region includes a common electron-transporting layer adjacent to the red emitting portion, the green emitting portion and the blue emitting portion; the common electron-transporting layer includes a material having a triplet energy ETel larger than ETbh; and the difference between the affinity of the host GH and the affinity of the material constituting the common electron-transporting layer is 0.4 eV or less.
