摘要： In a perfume information processing system, a WEB server that provides contents containing perfume information, a perfume inquiry server that generates a perfume conversion table, and multiple clients that each includes a perfume emitting device are connected to a network. Each client sends information showing a perfume that should be emitted and information showing each stored perfume of its corresponding perfume emitting device to the perfume inquiry server and retrieves a perfume conversion table for converting the perfume that should be emitted into information showing a stored perfume. The client converts the perfume information contained in the contents retrieved from the WEB server into perfume information by referring to the perfume conversion table and controls perfume emission by the corresponding perfume emitting device based on the perfume information, thereby performing perfume emission.

摘要： There are disclosed an apparatus and method for manufacturing a color filter for a liquid crystal display by forming a plurality of color elements on a glass substrate. Three ink-jet heads respectively having R, G, and B color ink are moved relative to the glass substrate, and form color elements by ejecting corresponding color ink onto positions, corresponding to the color elements, on the substrate. Each color element has a shape elongated in the arrangement direction of nozzles of the ink-jet heads, and is made up of a plurality of ink ejections from different nozzles of the ink-jet head.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a recording head for use in an ink jet head involves providing a discharge port formation member having a surface in which orifices are to be formed, treating a discharge port face of the discharge port formation member with a water-repellent material, and forming orifices by applying radiation from a pulsed laser beam to the discharge port formation member which has been treated by the material having a water-repellent property, so that forming the orifices creates byproducts. The method also involves sticking at least once a tape having an adhesive layer against the discharge port face of the discharge port formation member against at least peripheral portions of the orifices having the byproducts created in the orifice forming step sticking thereto and deposited therein, and peeling the tape therefrom.

The light receiving layer has an inner layer composed of a-Si(Ge,Sn)(H,X) and an outer layer composed of a-Si(H,X) containing neither germanium atoms nor tin atoms. The support has an uneven surface of spherical dimples, each having an inside face provided with minute irregularities.The light receiving member exhibits high photosensitivity in the entire visible region of light; exhibits an excellent matching property with a semiconductor laser and shows quick light response. The member is suited for image formation by using coherent light, free from interference fringe patterns and spots upon reversed development even after repeated use for a long period of time. The member is free from defective images or blurring, shows high density with clear half tones, has a high resolving power, and can provide high quality images.
