    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing pollutants from turbid sewage to purify the sewage.
      SOLUTION: A bypass passage for reintroducing the turbid sewage, delivered from the pump, into the suction side of the pump exists in the region of a pump 1 for sucking the turbid sewage. A coagulant fed from a storage tank 3 is mixed with the turbid sewage in a coagulant mixer 2 in the bypass passage. On the delivery side of the pump, two or more loop agitators 5 each having two or more branch passages from the inflow port into which the turbid sewage flows to the opposite outflow port are connected in series so that the outflow port of the upstream agitator is connected to the inflow port of the adjacent downstream agitator. The coagulant-containing turbid sewage is introduced into the inflow port of the upstream agitator, and separated at a branch part in the vicinity of the inflow port to pass through the bypass passages. Subsequently the separated turbid sewages are joined at a junction port in the vicinity of the outflow port to be introduced into the downstream agitator. At least one cyclone separator for solid-liquid separation is installed on the downstream side of the most downstream agitator.
