    • PURPOSE: To contrive an improvement in density and strength of a molded article, by a method wherein an increasing agent increasing centrifugal force is added within a material to be molded and the increasing agent is separated and removed after centrifugal molding has been performed.
      CONSTITUTION: After pressing and molding have been performed by adding a material for pressing a molding material through centrifugal force in the inside of the molding material to press the material to be molded, said force increasing material is separated from the molding material for removal. At the time of centrifugal molding, when a cylindrical die 1 in a centrifugal molding machine which is dividable into a plurality of pieces is made to revolve by fixing the cylindrical die 1 to the centrifugal machine by putting a tubular bag 3 and the force increasing material 4 into the culindrical die 1 after the pedetermined molding material 2 has been poured into the cylindrical die 1, the force increasing material 4 whose specific gravity is larger than that of the molding material 2 spreads out the tubular bag 3 by force and presses the molding material 2 toward the outside from the center of the cylinder through centrifugal force. A material of a pottery and synthetic resin are used for the molding material 2 and metal powder and building stone are used for the force increasing material 4.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive simplification of covering work of a tube, by a method wherein sliding contact of a large number of spheres held by a divided case is made to perform with the external circumferential surface of a cylinder, an elastic device pressing the spheres toward the center of the cylinder is provided and a receiving part of the cylinder is provided at the lower part of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is so constituted that a large number of steel balls 4 held rotatably by a divided case 5 is made to bring into sliding contact with the external circumferential surface of a cylinder 1 held by a receiving part of the cylinder at a predetermined height of the cylinder 1 and the steel ball 4 is pressed toward the center of the cylinder 1 by a coil spring 6 through the case 5. With this construction, as the steel ball 4 is relieved outward against force of the spring 6 when a soft tube 7 is pressed down along the external circumferential surface of the cylinder 1 by a feed roller 8, the tube 7 is pressed down to a predetermined position without receiving strong resistance. With this construction, covering of the soft tube 7 over the cylinder while the cylinder is being held becomes possible and covering work is simplified.
