    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the condition of cutting by making a blade angle θ9 as sharp as possible with protrusion blades 3 of a various kinds of forms.
      SOLUTION: In the grater, the solid protrusion blades 3 of the shape of a right trigonal pyramid are formed in parallel on a slide surface 2 for sliding material to be grated, and a plurality of blade edges 5 arranged mutually in a peripheral direction X along the slide surface 2 are formed on the peripheral surface 4 of each protrusion blade 3 standing from the slide surface 2. Both-blade surfaces 9 adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction X so as to sandwich each blade edge 5 of each protrusion blade 3 are formed inside of both of the assumed planes P obtained by mutually combining both of the blade edges 5 adjacent in the peripheral direction X, and formed in the state of being recessed inward from the assumed plane P. An actual blade angle θ9 formed by the recessed blade surface 9 between both-blade surfaces 9 adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction X so as to sandwich the blade edge 5 is set to be smaller than an assumed blade angle θP formed between both of the assumed planes P adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction X so as to sandwich the blade edge 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a sharp edge of cutter that can improve the productivity and reduce the production cost by reducing the grinding amount in forming the sharp edge of a cutter. SOLUTION: At first, the side surfaces 6 of a point forming portion 7, which is a part of a cutter material 5, are ground to form ground point surfaces 9 continuously extending from a pointed end 8 toward the rear side thereof at a predetermined point angle α while leaving exposed the unground surfaces 10 of the material, which surfaces extend from the ground point surfaces 9 to the back portion 4 of the material. Thereafter, the ground point surfaces 9, boundary surfaces 11, and the unground material surfaces 10 are ground. Further, ground edge surfaces 15 extending from the pointed end 8 toward the rear side thereof at a predetermined edge angle β are formed by grinding. As a result, the grinding provides the cutter material with ground point surfaces 18 continuously extending from the ground edge surfaces 15 toward the rear sides thereof at a predetermined point angle α through ground boundary surfaces 17 and ground side surfaces 14 continuously extending from the ground point surfaces 18 toward the back sides thereof through ground boundary surfaces 13.       SOLUTION: In a safety razor comprising three blades, an upper blade 1, a middle blade 2 and a lower blade 3, many quadrangular hole parts 7 are provided in the center of a rectangular guard plate 6, and a narrow linear razor edge guard 8 is formed between the adjacent holes 7, 7. In this case, to locate the bent guard plate 6, an insert hole 21 is formed in the upper half part 15 of the guard plate 6 clamped and fixed between the back of the top plate 9 and the upper surface of the blade, and a U-shaped cut recess part 2 is formed in the lower half part 16 thereof clamped and fixed between the lower surface of the blade and a blade table 10. Then, the insert hole 21 provided in the upper half part 15 is engaged with a fitting projection 11 projected from the back of the top plate 9 to locate and fix the guard plate 6.

Each of the blade bodies 3, 4 includes an edge 10a, a back part 11, a rear surface 12 and a front surface 13. The attachment part 17 of the comb 2 includes: the insertion groove part 21; a back side wall part 18; a front side wall part 19; and a rear side wall part 20. Respective comb teeth 16 to face the rear surface 12 of the other blade body 4 in a closed state are extended from the front side wall part 19, and arranged along the edge 10a of the one blade body 3. The recessed line part 14 and the projected line part 24 to be mutually fitted are formed between the front surface 13 of the one blade body 3 and the front side wall part 19 in the insertion groove part 21 of the attachment part 17.
