摘要： Method and equipment for two-sided coating of a moving paper or board web (W), in which method a coating slip is applied to a first surface (S¿A?) of the web using a gravity-based method for application of the coating slip, the web's (W) direction of travel is turned by 120 -200°, the coating slip is applied to a second surface (S¿B?) of the web using a gravity-based method for application of the coating slip, and both sides (S¿A?,S¿B?) of the web are dried. The devices for applying the coating slip to the surfaces (S¿A?) of the web include two application beams (11,16), which are located above the web and which have a supply gap or supply holes to pour out the coating slip with the aid of gravity on to the surface to be coated. At the run of the web (W) remaining in between these application beams (11,16) turning devices (22) are fitted for changing the web's direction of travel by 120-200° after coating slip has been applied to the first surface (S¿A?) of the web.

摘要： A method of and equipment for manufacturing a fibrous web, comprising the formation of at least one layer of fibrous web from stock with a solids content of over 1.5%, water being removed from the said fibrous web by first pressing the fibrous web to a solids content of about 45 to 65%, then evaporating the fibrous web to a solids content of about 75 to 95%, after which the fibrous web is treated by means of a pressing contact to increase its smoothness, the fibrous web being treated in the manufacturing process before the reeling stage by at least one pressure and heat treatment, wherein the forming pressure exerted on the fibrous web is not higher than 20MPa.

摘要： The invention relates to a calender which comprises at least two calender rolls which form between them a calendering nip (N). One of the rolls is a heatable calender roll, i.e., a thermo roll (13). According to the invention, at least one of at least two rolls of the calender (10) is a zone-controlled calender roll (15) the shell (16) of which is of composite material. The zone-controlled roll (15) comprises a roll frame which comprises a shaft and load shoes (14) located parallel at least in one row in the longitudinal direction of the roll arranged in connection with the shaft (11) and a rotating flexible shell arranged around the load shoes.
