    • A practitioner's chair (10), in particular for a dentist, has a foot (11), a vertically adjustable seat (12) and at least a first articulation (13) between the foot (11) and the seat (12) arranged in a front area of the seat (12) and by means of which the seat (12) is pivotably held with respect to the foot (11). In order to ensure an ergonomically favourable individual relaxed posture of the practicioner, independently from his body size, while maintaining the desired treatment position, at least one second articulation (15) is provided between the foot (11) and the seat (12) whose relative displacement is adjustably coupled to the relative displacement of the first articulation (13), so that the level of the eyes of the seated practicioner remains at least approximately constant when he swivels and/or when the treatment requires a swivelling movement. The articulations have length adjustment means (14 and 16), and a mechanism, a hydraulic forced control or an articulation displacement coupled to an electric motor and controlled by a control unit ensure the coupled relative displacement between the articulations.

    • A device for targeted delivery of a mixed amalgam consists of a hollow body (11) in which a pressure piston (12) is movable, from outside, from an initial position to an end position against the force of a pressure spring, a closable amalgam outlet section (13) coupled to the hollow body at the side of the latter opposite to the pressure piston (12), a mixed amalgam reception section (15) coupled to the hollow body (11) for dispensing determined amalgam amounts through a closable inlet (16) in the displacement area of the pressure piston (12), and a closure member (19) for the hollow body (11) arranged in the displacement area of the pressure piston (12) between its end position and the amalgam inlet (16). A portioning chamber (18) whose rear wall is formed by the pressure piston (12) and whose front wall is formed by the closure member (19) in its closed position is formed in the amalgam inlet (16) area, in the hollow body (11).
