    • A composite of medicaments each having a hydroxyl group and represented by the following general formula: A-B-C, wherein A represents a carrier selected among saccharides each having a carboxyl group, polyethylene glycol, aliphatic carboxylic acids and their derivatives, B represents a spacer having amino and carboxyl groups in its molecule, and C represents a medicament having a hydroxyl group. In this case, the carrier A and the spacer B are bonded to each other through the amide linkage formed between the carboxyl group of the carrier A and the amino group of the spacer B, while the spacer B and the medicament C are bonded to each other through the ester bond formed between the carboxyl group of the spacer B and the hydroxyl group of the medicament C. The composite exhibits a surely controlled release rate of the medicament therefrom to increase the migration of the medicament to a target tissue and/or to enhance the efficacy of the medicament.

    • A copying machine equipped with a scanner unit (2) for reading an original, a linear thermal head (14) for printing an image read by means of the unit (2) on a recording medium, namely, a tape (16), a tape cartridge (51) for supplying the tape, and a tape transporting mechanism. The tape (16) is constituted of an image carrying sheet (161) the surface of which is formed as a printing surface, adhesive layer (162) formed by applying a bonding agent to the rear surface of the sheet (161), and peelable sheet (163) which is peelably stuck to the layer (162). The tape is wound in a roll and mounted on the main body of this copying machine in the form of a tape cartridge (51). Selvage sections for transportation having fixed widths are formed in both edge sections of the tape, and engaging holes are formed at regular intervals in the longitudinal direction of the tape in the selvage sections. The tape transporting mechanism is provided with sprockets (183 and 184) having such projections that can be engaged with the engaging holes on their outer peripheral surfaces. Therefore, desired images can be printed on the tape while the tape is accurately moved. Thus the tape on which desired images can be copied and which can be stuck to a desired location can be easily obtained.
