    • A headphone (49) of a noise-reduction headset (40) includes an ear cup (41), an external microphone (42), an internal loudspeaker (43), and a controller (33) between the external microphone and the internal loudspeaker. The external microphone receives external noise sound signals. The control unit converts the external noise sound signals into anti-phased noise sound signals which are broadcasted by the internal loudspeaker (43). The anti-phased noise sound signals interfere with and reduce the external noise sound signal entering the ear cup. The controller has a preferred related function stored therein for converting the external noise sound signals into the anti-phased noise sound signals. The preferred related function is obtained by regulating a related function in respect to a comparison between a transfer function between an external microphone (22) and an internal microphone (24) and a transfer function between an internal loudspeaker (23) and the internal microphone.

    • A method for providing a 3D audio work includes providing a one-ear HRTF filter and a related function synthesizer storing a related function therein, and inputting sound signals into the one-ear HRTF filter. The sound signals are converted into one-ear output sound signals which are received by one ear and synthesized to output sound signals for the other ear. A method for providing the related function includes inputting sound signals into HRTF filters of opposite ears and obtaining output sound signals which respectively act as raw signals and target signals. The raw signals are synthesized by a synthesizer to output sound signals which compare with the target signals. A related function registered in the synthesizer is accordingly regulated so as to obtain the related function which satisfies a minimum difference between the output sound signals from the synthesizer and the target signals.

    • A device and a method for integrating 3D sound effect processing and active noise control are proposed. A digital signal processor incorporates an artificial reverberator and a 3D spatial audio processor into an audio module. The audio signal is presented via an earphone. Next, a microphone embedded in the vicinity of the loudspeaker inside the headset is used to sense an external noise while playing, and feed it back to an active noise controller, which generates an anti-noise to eliminate the external noise. Therefore, the signal to noise ratio can be increased and the 3D sound field effect can be significantly enhanced. In addition, a head-related transfer function is more efficiently implemented on the basis of an interaural transfer function in the spatial audio processing to reduce the filter order lower and hence the computation loading.

    • A device and a method for integrating 3D sound effect processing and active noise control are proposed.
