摘要： A network system which enables the user to easily access an arbitrary service of an arbitrary page by using keys provided to the user's terminal when a plurality of pages of data having a hyper-link structure are prepared for a server apparatus. The network system includes the server apparatus and a plurality of user terminals (30). The server apparatus includes a memory for storing a plurality of pages of data having a hyper-link structure described in a language conforming to the HTML specifications and setup data described in a language conforming to the HTLM specifications for allotting functions to keys of the user's terminal for each page and for explaining the function allotted to each key. Each user's terminal (30) includes a plurality of keys (42) and processing means for displaying pages supplied thereto from the server on a display (32). When another page is selected by the key operation by the user, the processing means reads out the setup data of other pages from the server apparatus, sets up the function of each key (42) and executes the setup operation for displaying the explanation of the function of each key in a display area (52) on the display (32).
