    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compass capable of recognizing a radius of a circle to be drawn in order to appreciate a definition of the circle by a method wherein a radius displaying material of a length corresponding to the radius of the circle to be drawn is linearly extended over between both lower end parts of a pair of compass legs, and upper end parts of the legs are, in a freely openable manner, connected to each other. SOLUTION: For a compass C1 , upper end parts of a pair of compass legs 1, 2 are intersected mutually in a structure in which a thickness is not increased, the intersected part is stored between respective hanging down pieces 3a of a connecting bracket 3 of which a side form is U-shaped, and they are integrally connected via a connecting pin 4. When an open angle of a pair of the compass legs 1, 2 is increased, a radius displaying wire W is drawn out from a wire through hole at the lower end part of the compass leg 1 against restoring force of a coil spring 11, and extended over between the lower end parts of a pair of compass legs 1, 2. When a circle is drawn under this state, its radius itself can be visually recognized even in the midst of drawing the circle, which becomes helpful in appreciating a definition of the circle.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate understanding and guidance of fundamental of a figure by splitting a triangle at a part of orthogonal bisector, and foldably coupling respective normal triangles at part of the bisector to form a two-page regular triangle. SOLUTION: Two-page regular triangle T having three vertexes A to C is formed by foldably coupling split orthogonal triangles T11 , T12 at part of orthogonal bisector L1 for coupling a midpoint D of a side BC to the vertex A via a hinge coupling part 1. This two-page regular triangle T1 is manufactured by resin, and the part 1 is formed of thin part of resin. Scales 3 are executed on respective sides of a surface 2. The scales 3 of the respective sides are set to '0' at parts of its midpoints. The part 1 is provided near a back surface 4 of the triangle T1 , and the triangles T11 , T12 are foldable in the state that the back surfaces are coupled back to back.
