摘要： An improved process for producing an ethylene copolymer, wherein a comonomer copolymerizable with ethylene is copolymerized with ethylene under a pressure of 500 to 3000 kg/cm2 and at a temperature of 100 to 350oC, using an initiator in the presence or absence of a chain transfer agent. A grease containing a polymerization inhibitor is filled into packings and gaps of a retainer of an ultrahigh-pressure pump for copolymerization. The comonomer and ethylene are partly or wholly mixed together under an elevated pressure, and are introduced into the reactor. Thus, the copolymer does not leak from the packings of the pump, the conduit is not clogged, and the pump is prevented from breaking, thus enhancing operation efficiency. Further, since the copolymer sufficiently diffuses into ethylene gas, a high-quality polymer containing small amounts of gel can be produced, while permitting the reaction to be easily controlled and to be stably carried out.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compass capable of recognizing a radius of a circle to be drawn in order to appreciate a definition of the circle by a method wherein a radius displaying material of a length corresponding to the radius of the circle to be drawn is linearly extended over between both lower end parts of a pair of compass legs, and upper end parts of the legs are, in a freely openable manner, connected to each other. SOLUTION: For a compass C1 , upper end parts of a pair of compass legs 1, 2 are intersected mutually in a structure in which a thickness is not increased, the intersected part is stored between respective hanging down pieces 3a of a connecting bracket 3 of which a side form is U-shaped, and they are integrally connected via a connecting pin 4. When an open angle of a pair of the compass legs 1, 2 is increased, a radius displaying wire W is drawn out from a wire through hole at the lower end part of the compass leg 1 against restoring force of a coil spring 11, and extended over between the lower end parts of a pair of compass legs 1, 2. When a circle is drawn under this state, its radius itself can be visually recognized even in the midst of drawing the circle, which becomes helpful in appreciating a definition of the circle.
