    • A hospital bed (1, 2, 3) consisting of a cover board (5) and a flush toilet (7) for reception of a patient's excrement, which is arranged under the bed for vertical and horizontal movement. The cover board (5) normally covers a hole (4) in the bed when it is used only as a bed. When required the cover board lowers automatically and is conveyed horizontally away from its covering position and simultaneously the flush toilet (7) is moved to a position immediately under the hole in the bed and is raised to a position in which the flush toilet's upper circumference edge is even with the bed's upper surface. The bed is supplied with a pump-motor for flushing and injection of rinse water against the patient's excretory organ after excretion and a fan motor for ventilation and infusion of warm air to dry the mentioned organ after washing.     • In order to permit a patient to pass excrements without any help from somebody else a bed for a patient comprises a covering plate (5) and a rinsing pan (7) for the excrements of the patient. These two parts are located underneath the bed and can be moved vertically and horizontally. In the normal state of the bed the covering plate includes a hole (4) formed therein. If desired, the covering plate is automatically lowered and moved horizontally out of this position. At the same time, the rinsing pan is moved into a position directly underneath the hole in the bed and is lifted into a position in which the upper periphery of the pan is flush with the upper side of the bed. The bed is provided with a pump motor for rinsing and injection of cleaning water toward the excretory organ of the patient after excretion. A fan motor is provided for ventilation and introduction of hot air to dry the organ after cleaning.

    • Apparatus for collecting shellfish and the like the bed of a body of water has a frame with a pair of longitudinally extendiny parallel spaced runners and a bag net support member projecting upwardly from the rear ends of the runners. A bag net mounted on the support member is adapted to receive and hold shellfish collected from the bed by a rake. The rake is carried pivotably by and extends between the runners and has a pivot shaft with a plurality of substantially parallel spaced tines thereon. At least one of the runners has an upwardly extending columnar member with at least one aperture therein, the pivot shaft being journaled in the columnar member and having an adjusting arm secured to at least one end of the pivot shaft for rotation therewith. One end of the adjusting arm has an offset section in which a plurality of apertures are formed alignable with the at least one aperture in the columnar member. A fastening device is insertable through the aligned apertures of the corresponding columnar member and adjusting arm for fixing the shaft and the tines in predetermined angular relation to the bed of the body of water.
