    • The invention concerns electronic games. When used in the construction of new or existing games of various types, it enables the desired game to be played in any location without the need for either cash or a central processor. The means consists of a system containing an electronic game structure (1) including a processor (4) with a memory (5), a unit (6) for entering data and commands, a display unit (7), a device (2) for recording and reading data in the memory of a smart card registered with an authorised credit agency (9), a smart card (3) void of any personal information about the player, and a unit (8) for recording and reading data in the memory of the smart card. The processor (4) with the memory (5) is equipped with a program interacting directly with the unit (8). The device (2) in the memory of the smart card (3) records the initial credit value and the identifier of the game (or the program), which are copied into the memory (5) of the processor (4) when the smart card (3) is inserted into the unit (8) of the game structure (1). When the game is played, the unit (8) records data concerning the score directly into the memory of the smart card (3) either during or after the game. The card can then be presented for payment to the authorised credit agency (9).
