SOLUTION: In a work machining device comprising a fixed vice 14 provided on a pass line PL, an upstream movable vice 16 and a downstream work machining means (18), the movable vice comprises a slide base 36 which is supported by a guide bar 42 and advanced/retracted to/from the fixed vice, a fixed jaw 28 which is fitted to the slide base in a displaceable manner with a second side reference surface 28a and a second bottom reference surface 28b abutted on a work 12, a second movable jaw 30 which is disposed on the second fixed jaw and advanced/retracted to/from the second side reference surface, a first displacing means 38 which is interposed between the slide base and the second fixed jaw and energized when the movable vice is advanced to outwardly displace both second reference surfaces to both first reference surfaces, and a second displacing means 40 which is energized when the movable vice is retracted to inwardly displace both second reference surfaces relative to both first reference surfaces.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cutting accuracy, to extend a life of a circular saw, and to economically control an occurrence of noise by removing a chattering vibration of a circular saw during cutting operation. SOLUTION: An arrested engagement gear train is constituted by disposing three or more odd numbers of intermediate gears which rotate synchronously and in circular engagement with a main shaft gear 29 fixed to a main shaft 26 of a circular saw cutting machine. A rotating power of an electric motor is transmitted to one of the intermediate gears 33, at least one of the intermediate gears 33 is movable, and load is imposed on at least one of the movable intermediate gears 33, thus removing a backlash of the arrested engagement gear train. The sum J (kgf.m.sec2) of a moment of inertia converted to a main spindle including the main spindle of each spindle which interlocks in a condition such that the backlash is removed from the main spindle satisfies an equation J>=F×(D/2)[1000×250×(N/60)2], where D (mm) is a diameter of a circular saw, N (rpm) is a number of rotation, and F (kgf) is a cutting force per blade as a compornent of force.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a circular saw usable in a high speed rotating region even if a base metal is thin by using the base metal which can be cut even in a rotating region being not less than the lowest critical number of rotations. SOLUTION: In a circular saw usable in a region being not less than the lowest critical no. of rotation when a work is cut and in two modes wherein the no. of knot circles of a base metal in the circular saw is 0 and the same number of knot diameters is n, when the inherent frequencies of the circular saw are fn1 (Hz) and fn2 (Hz) (wherein fn2>fn1), difference Δfn in the inherent frequency=fn2-fn1, the relative difference in inherent frequencies Δfn/fn1 is at least 3.0% at the knot diameter number n=3 and at least 3.5% at the knot diameter number n=4. As the thickness of the saw can be made thin as much as the base metal is made thin and cutting force per one tooth can be lowered by this, delivery speed can be set large and therefore, it is possible to improve work processing efficiency and efficiency.
