    • An ink jet recorder includes a circuit (31) for generating a first trapezoidal driving voltage in synchronism with an external timing signal; a driving circuit (32) for outputting the first driving voltage to a piezoelectric vibrator (17) in response to an external printing signal and outputting a second voltage for generating small pulses to such an extent that ink droplets are not jetted from a nozzle aperture, in synchronism with the timing signal if a non-printing state lasts for one or more cycles; and control means (30) for stopping the application of the small pulses if it lasts more than a predetermined time during an interruption of printing. When the ink droplets are not jetted for more than one cycle, the small pulses are applied to impart fine vibration to a meniscus so as to prevent clogging of the nozzle without generating an ink mist. Moreover, when printing is interrupted and the application of the small pulses continues for more than the predetermined time, the application of the small pulses is stopped so as to prevent the undesirable increase of tackiness of ink at the nozzle that results from fine vibration.

    • A hot melt ink composition which can provide an excellent fixation strength and a high printing quality irrespective of the kind of recording media. This composition is discharged as droplets at a temperature higher than normal temperature, is solid at normal temperature, and comprises a colorant and a vehicle containing at least first and second components, wherein: the first component alone does not dissolve the colorant; the second component has a higher melting point than that of the first component, dissolves the colorant, has compatibility with the first component at a temperature higher than the melting point thereof, and can dissolve the colorant and the first component to thereby form a homogeneous phase; and the weight ratio of the first component to the second component is within the range of 93/7 to 1, and the amount of the colorant is at least 2 wt.% based on the weight of the ink composition; with the proviso that when the above ratio is less than 9, the weight ratio of the colorant to the second component is at least 0.3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a punching tool and to omit labor hour for expressly detaching printed matter to confirm a letter by making transparent wrinkles of transparent paraffin paperlike material and sticking soft adhesive seal paste at every wrinkle and protecting wrinkles by release paper and fixing both ends of the transparent wrinkles to a cover. SOLUTION: Transparent parafin paperlike material is continuously folded into a bellowlike shape and bonded so as to become a wrinkly shape and transparent wrinkles 3 are formed. Soft adhesive seal paste 2 is stuck at every transparent wrinkle 3. The wrinkles are protected so as not to be stuck to other wrinkle 3 by release paper 1. Both ends of the transparent wrinkles 3 are fixed to a cover 4. In the case of using the seal style book type file, the release paper 1 of the transparent wrinkles 3 is peeled and printed matter or the like 5 desired to be filed are stuck to soft adhesive seal paste 2. Thereby, filing is enabled regardless of place and printed matter or the like are opened to the inner part. Therefore, reading is enabled in such a sense as seeing a book. Further, printed matter or the like are transparent and seen and it is prevented that a letter and a photograph or the like are not read and seen.
