摘要： A projection display which is light in weight, small in size and can be put into practical use and in which light emitting devices having organic EL elements are employed. Particularly, the deterioration of the light emitting performance which is caused by heat is suppressed, the operation life is prolonged, the luminance is stabilized, and the highest luminance is constantly maintained. The projection display comprises crystal panels (12R - 12B), light emitting devices (13R - 13B) which are provided behind the liquid crystal panels and have organic EL elements as light emitting layers and cooling elements (14R - 14B) which are provided behind the light emitting devices to dissipate the heat generated by the light emitting layers. The cooling elements (14R - 14B) are, for instance, electronic cooling devices utilizing the Peltier effect by which the generated heat is absorbed and dissipated. Alternatively, the cooling elements may be heat dissipating fins by which the generated heat is guided and dissipated.

When the device is not attached to the body of the user, moreover, the device can be used as a desktop computer by connecting peripheral equipment to the control circuit unit.

The section (9) and the lens (11) are so disposed that the optical axis of the system (3) is nearly aligned with the line of sight of the user when the user views the horizon. The user can easily select either of his eyes for viewing the virtual image by the switching means. Therefore, the display device has both excellent versatility and shareability.

Thus, racing of the rotary blade is decreased to protect the environment, and reused rinsing water of the washing water is reused.
