    • A system for using a thermal cycle for healing or cooling. The system comprises a thermoelectric module flowing a gas; and an internal heat exchanger flowing the gas and exchanging heat between the gas and another fluid; the gas flow from at least one of the thermoelectric module and the internal heat exchanger flowing for heating or cooling. The system may be for using a closed cycle to remove a liquid from at least one object comprising moisture, the system comprising an enclosure containing the at least one object and arranged to receive a hot and dry gas for flow over the at least one object and thereby to produce a flow of moist gas at an intermediate temperature. The internal heat exchanger is arranged to exchange heat between the flow of the moist gas at the intermediate temperature and a flow of cold dry gas, thereby producing cooled moist gas and pre-warmed dry gas.

    • The invention pertains to a climate control system for a motor vehicle (58) which comprises a compressor (14) and a corresponding compressor drive (16), an interior heat exchanger (18), an exterior heat exchanger (36), an expansion element (32) and, if so required, an internal heat exchanger (30). The device is realized in the form of a self-sufficient flat module (12) that is designed for cooling in a cooling mode and for heating in a heat pump mode. The compressor (16) consists of a high-output carbon dioxide compressor that has a small structural volume and is integrated into the module (12) together with the compressor drive (16). The carbon dioxide compressor (14) preferably has an external power control. The module (12) contains an energy connection (54) for only one form of energy in order to supply the drive of the module (12) with energy. The energy connection (54) preferably consists of an electric energy connection with only one voltage level or with several different voltage levels. The energy connection (54) may, for example, also consist of a hydraulic or a pneumatic energy connection.

The first heat exchanger is arranged to flow the cooled moist gas in heat exchange relationship with the cold side of the thermoelectric module thereby condensing the liquid in the cooled moist gas and producing cold dry gas, which is arranged to be flowed through the internal heat exchanger thereby producing the pre-warmed dry gas. The second heat exchanger is arranged to flow the pre-warmed dry gas in heat exchange relationship with the hot side of the thermoelectric module, thereby closing the cycle by producing the hot dry gas arranged to be received by the enclosure.

    • Described is an installation (10) for heating, ventilation or air-conditioning of a long-distance bus, which in a transverse direction in a housing (12) has a heat exchanger and, for passing air through the heat exchanger (14), radial-flow blowers (28, 30, 32) which are arranged one above the other and disposed in displaced relationship one behind the other. Downstream of the heat exchanger (14) the housing (12) has a collecting chamber (20) which is in fluid communication with longitudinal ducts (36) by way of two lateral corner regions (22). The radial-flow blowers are in the form of suction blowers (28, 30, 32) which are disposed in the corner regions (22) in two groups which are spatially separated from each other. The suction blowers (28, 30, 32) are arranged on partitioning walls (24) which are provided with openings (26) therethrough and which extend over the corner regions (22) between the housing (12) and heat exchanger (14) and which separate the collecting chamber (20) from the corresponding longitudinal duct (36). The suction blowers (28, 30, 32) are inclined at acute angles (.alpha., .beta.) relative to the horizontal and relative to the longitudinal direction.
