摘要： The invention concerns a trimmer comb (1) that comprises a base sheet (10) with a toothed front side that has at least a guard tooth (11) that has a thickened tip (11d) that is made by a process that comprises the steps of (a) forming an intermediate guard tooth (11′) having a protrusion (11 a1) that extends beyond a skin contact edge (L2), (b) bending the protrusion (11a1) of the intermediate guard tooth (11′) over to form a bent-over portion (11a) of the intermediate guard tooth (11′), and (c) applying energy to the bent-over portion (11a) so that a molten tip portion (11 b) is formed. Even for thin base sheets (10), a large sized thickened tip (11d) can be formed and injuries induced by hooking of trimmer teeth can effectively be avoided. The invention is also concerned with a method of manufacturing a trimmer comb.

摘要： A hair trimmer is disclosed, comprising a fixed cutting element having teeth on the front side thereof, and a mobile cutting element which has teeth on the front side thereof and is oscillable in relation to the fixed cutting element, so that, when the hair trimmer is used, hairs reaching between the teeth of the fixed cutting element and the mobile cutting element are cut off. The hair trimmer also has a protective support which has teeth on its front side, is arranged on the fixed cutting element, and used to place the hair trimmer on the skin of the user. The teeth of the protective support lock with the teeth of the fixed cutting element on the front side or slightly extend over the teeth, and the teeth of the protective support lie on the fixed cutting element, essentially without gaps.

摘要： A combination powered grooming device comprising a handle and a grooming attachment. The handle has a longitudinal axis extending between an upper end and a lower end. The handle comprises a trimmer assembly disposed adjacent the upper end and the trimmer assembly includes at least one moving blade. The handle further comprises an electrical arrangement disposed therein. The electrical arrangement comprises a motor having a drive shaft and a drive mechanism coupled to the drive shaft and to the trimmer assembly. In a trimming mode, the drive mechanism translates movement of the drive shaft to the moving blade. The grooming attachment is adapted for mounting onto the upper end.

The risk of using such a hair trimmer is that the skin can be caught between the teeth or the teeth can penetrate into skin openings such as capillary ducts, leading to painful skin injuries. In order to avoid these injuries, the hair trimmer also has a protective support (3) which has teeth (4) on its front side, is arranged on the fixed cutting element (20′), and used to place the hair trimmer (1) on the skin of the user. The teeth (4) of the protective support (3) lock with the teeth of the fixed cutting element (20′) on the front side or slightly extend over said teeth, and the teeth (4) of the protective support (3) lie on the fixed cutting element (20′), essentially without gaps.

The invention is also concerned with a hair trimmer comprising such a trimmer comb and a hair removal device comprising such a hair trimmer.
