    • A linear compressor comprises: a fixed member including a cylinder for providing a refrigerant compression space; a movable member, which includes a piston for compressing refrigerant inside the cylinder and a supporter composed of a center portion being aligned with a center of the piston and a support portion extended radially of the piston and which makes a linear reciprocating movement about the fixed member; a plurality of mainsprings supported on the support portion of the supporter, for elastically supporting the piston in an axial direction; and a mass member, which includes a center portion to couple with the center portion of the supporter and a plurality of ends extended from the center portion to maintain an air-gap towards the support portion of the supporter and towards the mainsprings. The linear compressor of the present invention can accommodate a maximum mass member in a defined space of a linearly reciprocating movable member, so material loss is prevented and more installation space can be secured.

    • An apparatus for preventing abrasion in a reciprocal compressor, including a cylinder, a reciprocal motor having a stator and a mover, and generating a linear reciprocation driving force, a piston inserted into an inside space of the cylinder to be linearly movable, a piston rod coupled to the piston to be movable in the radial direction of the piston, and coupled to the mover of the reciprocal motor, for transmitting the linear reciprocation driving force of the reciprocal motor to the piston, and a concentricity control means coupled to a junction between the piston and the piston rod, for fixing the piston and the piston rod in the axial direction, and allowing a relative motion thereof in the radial direction. The apparatus prevents abrasion from being generated between the cylinder and the piston due to processing errors and assembly errors of components of the reciprocal compressor.

    • A linear featuring an improved oil feed performance compressor comprises a cylinder having a refrigerant compression space inside; a piston, linearly reciprocating inside the cylinder to compress refrigerant; a frame, to which one end of the cylinder is affixed and which has a mounting groove at a lower portion; an oil feed assembly settled in the mounting groove of the frame, for pumping/supplying oil; an oil supply path in a linear shape, which is positioned at a lower portion inside the frame to communicate with the mounting groove of the frame and with the bottom of the cylinder and which supplies oil between the cylinder and the piston; and an oil recovery path in a linear shape, which is at an upper portion inside the frame asymmetrically to the oil supply path to communicate with an upper side of the frame and with the top of the cylinder and which recovers oil between the cylinder and the piston.     • The present invention relates to a linear compressor compressing a working fluid in the cylinder such as a refrigerant and etc with the reciprocating movement of the piston in the cylinder due to the reciprocating force of the linear motor, and provides a linear compressor and the supporter for the same that the change of the lateral resonance frequency due to the lateral stiffness of the piston spring is easy as having a stub or a narrow part on the supporter preventing the increase of the mass inertia moment compared with the distance between the centroid of the supporter and the center of the piston spring sat on the supporter arm of the supporter, and capable of reducing the entire size and the manufacturing costs as raising the lateral resonance frequency easily without extending the length of the supporter arm.
