摘要： An apparatus and method of reconstructing a three-dimensional (3D) image from two-dimensional (2D) images are disclosed. Three dimensional (3D) data may be reconstructed in an x-ray generation tube at a limited angle, and repeatedly updated for each pixel. A median from among each pixel of reconstruction data may be selected. Backprojecting may be performed using a search direction weight calculated using a reprojection image and residual image. A 3D image satisfying a Level 1 (L1) norm fidelity and sparsity constraint of the reconstruction data may be reconstructed.

摘要： Provided is a method and apparatus for support recovery of jointly sparse signals from a plurality of snapshots, thereby enhancing a capability for reconstructing a support in a variety of circumstances, by providing enhanced robustness against noise and perturbation, and/or enhanced computational efficiency. The method may include partial support recovery using a compressed sensing-multiple measurement vector (CS-MMV) scheme; and a complementary support recovery and sparsity level estimation. The complementary support recovery may use subspace information extracted from the plurality of snapshots and partial support information. The total number of elements in the partial support and in the complementary support may be equal to the sparsity level.

摘要： A system and method are disclosed that provide a simple and efficient layered video coding technique using a backward adaptive rate-distortion optimized data partitioning (RD-DP) of DCT coefficients. The video coding system may include an rate-distortion optimized data partitioning encoder and decoder. The RD-DP encoder adapts the partition point block-by-block which greatly improves the coding efficiency of the base layer bit stream without explicit transmission thereby saving the bandwidth significantly. The RD-DP decoder can also find the partition location in backward-fashion from the decoded data.

摘要： A method and apparatus for reconstructing an image by generating a scatter-corrected sinogram are provided. In the reconstructed image in which initial scattering is not corrected, a emission position of a photon is determined. A graphics processing unit (GPU) calculates migration of the photon using a Monte-Carlo simulation. A 3-dimensional (3D) line of response (LoR) may be calculated through a position in which the photon reaches a detector. The calculated LoR may be converted into a 3D sinogram form and stored in a prompt sinogram and a scatter-corrected sinogram. A final scatter-corrected sinogram may be generated by adjusting a scale of the scatter-corrected sinogram.

摘要： A method for extracting information of a cardiac cycle from projection data is presented. The method provides for acquiring one or more sets of computed tomography (CT) projection data. Further, the method includes analyzing the one or sets of CT projection data to obtain a center of cardiac mass. Also, the method provides for estimating raw motion data representative of the motion of the center of cardiac mass from the one or more sets of CT projection data. In addition, the method includes processing the center of mass through time to extract a motion signal from the raw projection data. Also, the method provides for extracting the periodicity information from the motion signal.
