摘要： A modular truss shoring system for forming concrete barriers in situ has truss members formed of upper and lower chord members are connected by diagonal struts. The struts being adjustable between chords to thereby allow for variation of height between the upper and lower chord. Tube truss legs are attached to and extend between the upper and lower chord with extension legs passing through the tube truss legs. The extension legs being adjustable with respect to the tube truss legs so as to allow for overall height adjustment of the truss members. Screw jacks are provided at the base of the extension legs allowing for adjustment of the truss members elevation with respect to a bearing surface. Cross bracing members are provided between adjacent truss members to stabilize the truss shoring system.

摘要： A modular tiered seat and walkway support component compatible with a standard scaffolding system is disclosed for use in assembling temporary viewing stands. The backbone of the component is a diagonally oriented rafter which supports a plurality of spaced horizontally extending angle arms for the attachment and support of walkway surfaces. The rafter also supports a plurality of spaced, vertically extending columns which are capped by metal plates to which seating surfaces are attached. The rafter is connected at either end to scaffolding standards by means of a bent plate, a portion of which is centrally bored to engage with the spiggots provided at the top end of the scaffolding standard.

摘要： A connecting piece is disclosed for connecting an elongate bracing element to an apertured locking disk on a scaffolding standard. The locking disk is of the sort that is provided with a plurality of apertures spaced around its perimeter. The connecting piece is provided with an upper portion, a lower portion and a slot between the upper and lower portions of suitable width to accommodate insertion of a disk therein. The upper and lower portions are provided with aligned apertures situated to align with an aperture on a disk. The connecting piece is provided with a locking wedge element captive in the apertures of the upper and lower portions and drivable through the aligned apertures of the upper and lower portions and the locking disk. The connecting piece is adapted for attachment to a said brace element, and is characterized in that it is provided with a vertical portion spanning the upper and lower portions at the rear thereof, the vertical portion being provided with a pair of bevelled surfaces extending rearwardly angled at substantially 45.degree. thereto each surface being adapted for connection of a connecting piece to a brace.
