摘要： A motor vehicle headlamp has a light source (4) with an axis (5) and is mounted in an accurately defined position relative to reference tabs (15) of a positioning member (14). To this end, the lamp has at its base a holder body (10) which includes a retaining member (12) which is adjustably fastened to the lamp vessel (1), a coupling member (16) which is telescopically aligned with and fastened to the retaining member (12), and a positioning member (14) fastened to the coupling member. The coupling member (16), before being fixed in position, can be shifted in two mutually perpendicular directions over a surface (19) of the positioning member (14). A reflector body for the headlamp has an opening having a boundary wherein a pressure member is provided and which bears against a flanged tongue (41) of the positioning member (14) when the headlamp is placed in the reflector body, thereby maintaining the headlamp in position.

摘要： The HID lamp, suitable for use as a vehicle headlamp, includes a lamp cap having a first, central recess, a second, annular recess surrounding the central recess, and a third recess separated from the first and second recesses. The recesses accommodate a first end of the discharge vessel and a first current supply conductor, a fixation member, and second current supply conductor, respectively. The fixation member is frictionally fixed in the annular recess by resilient tongues and is welded to a clamping member holding a sealed end of the discharge vessel. The lamp construction allows for adjustably mounting the discharge vessel to the lamp cap and avoids harmful and disadvantageous electrical high-voltage and high-frequency effects through electrical isolation of the clamping and fixation members.

The discharge vessel is accommodated in an outer bulb (10) which has cylindrical portions (12). The clamping plates (20) have transversely flanged rims (24, 25) from which elastic tongues (23) extend towards the outer bulb in tangential direction and press against a cylindrical portion (12) of the outer bulb with clamping force. The clamping plates (20) render it possible to suspend the discharge vessel (1) in the outer bulb (10), keeping the discharge vessel centered and forming a buffer in the case of shocks.

The metal hoods are accommodated in an insulator housing provided with an opening, through which a contact member extends to the exterior. The contact member is a metal strap with resilient tongues, which engage a metal hood behind a collar. The insulator housing has a tapering slot with a widened part, in which free end portions of the metal strap are enclosed. The unit of contact member and housing thus obtained is undetachably connected to the lamp in that it is axially slipped around the metal hood.
